Insights on Dark Matter from Hydrogen during Cosmic Dawn

open access: yes, 2018
The origin and composition of the cosmological dark matter remain a mystery. However, upcoming 21-cm measurements during cosmic dawn, the period of the first stellar formation, can provide new clues on the nature of dark matter.

Bianchi Type-I Bulk Viscosity with a DE Cosmological Model

open access: yesAdvances in High Energy Physics, 2020
The finding article presents Bianchi type-I universe in the presence of bulk viscous and DE fluid nature of a cosmological model. The solutions of field equations were obtained by assuming hybrid expansion law.

An optimized protocol to detect high‐throughput DNA methylation from custom targeted sequences on 96 samples simultaneously

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Workflow of a high‐throughput technology for epigenotyping of differentially methylated CpGs in specific regions of the genome. The protocol works with small amounts of DNA extracted from blood or semen. The protocol consists of both enzymatic conversion of unmethylated cytosines and capture by hybridization with a custom panel.

Optical features and thermal properties of charged AdS Euler–Heisenberg black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
In this article, motivated by the high interest in Euler–Heisenberg nonlinear electrodynamic theory, we investigated several thermal aspects of the charged Euler–Heisenberg black hole surrounded by perfect fluid dark matter. To ensure the validity of the

Transcriptional regulation of neuropeptide receptors underlies context‐dependent adaptation in Drosophila melanogaster

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Under environmental changes, the expression level of neuropeptide (NP) and neuropeptide receptor (NPR) genes changes to confer context‐dependent adaptation to the model organism Drosophila melanogaster. Through finding more regulatory elements in the NPR genes in comparison with their ligands (NPs), we found that NPR‐biased transcriptional regulation ...

The impact of Hnrnpl deficiency on transcriptional patterns of developing muscle cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
We performed nanopore whole‐transcriptome sequencing comparing RNA from Hnrnpl‐knockdown versus control C2C12 myoblasts to investigate the contributions of Hnrnpl to muscle development. Our results indicate that Hnrnpl regulates the expression of genes involved with Notch signaling and skeletal muscle, particularly splicing patterns of specific muscle ...

Interacting dark fluid in the universe bounded by event horizon : A non-equilibrium prescription

open access: yes, 2014
A non-equilibrium thermodynamic analysis has been done for the interacting dark fluid in the universe bounded by the event horizon. From observational evidences it is assumed that at present the matter in the universe is dominated by two dark sectors-dark

Homologous expression and purification of human HAX‐1 for structural studies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This research protocol provides detailed instructions for cloning, expressing, and purifying large quantities of the intrinsically disordered human HAX‐1 protein, N‐terminally fused to a cleavable superfolder GFP, from mammalian cells. HAX‐1 is predicted to undergo posttranslational modifications and to interact with membranes, various cellular ...
