Detection of Erwinia chrysanthemi pv dianthicola (Ech) by the DAS-ELISA method in symptomless carnation cuttings

This method, using a polyclonal antiserum, the specificity of which was evaluated in this study, can detect up to 5 x 103 cfu.mL-1. Different incubation conditions of carnation stem samples to be tested by DAS-ELISA were studied, in order to amplify the primary inoculum in weakly-infected symptomless samples.

We compared the performance of four frailty instruments, including a pragmatic alternative measure using chair sit‐to‐stand (STS), and evaluated their abilities to predict poor health outcomes.

Two methods (DAS-ELISA and RT-PCR) were compared for the detection of Prunus necrotic ringspot virus (PNRSV) inwoody host Prunus mahleb isolated from Malatya. Total RNA extractions were made from serially diluted fresh leaf tissue, root, barkand one year old green bark tissue using silica-based method.
