Trust evaluation model of cloud user based on behavior data

open access: yesInternational Journal of Distributed Sensor Networks, 2018
In the process of using the cloud platform, how to ensure the safety of users is a matter we must concern. The user authentication can provide a certain degree of security, but when the user information was leaked, this method will not be effective ...

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

Automatic probabilistic knowledge acquisition from data [PDF]

open access: yes
A computer program for extracting significant correlations of attributes from masses of data is outlined. This information can then be used to develop a knowledge base for a probabilistic expert system.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Tree-Oriented Data Acquisition Architecture

open access: yesAdvances in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2011
Hierarchical system of network nodes is suitable solution how to collect and how to pre-process data from large amount of end-nodes. By contrast to flat (one layer) architecture there are special intermediary nodes used and they are called summarization ...

The ngdp framework for data acquisition systems

open access: yes, 2010
The ngdp framework is intended to provide a base for the data acquisition (DAQ) system software. The ngdp's design key features are: high modularity and scalability; usage of the kernel context (particularly kernel threads) of the operating systems (OS),

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...
