DATA VERIFICATION IN ISSUE SUPERVISING SYSTEMS [PDF]

open access: yesНаучно-технический вестник информационных технологий, механики и оптики, 2013
The paper proposes a method of data verification in issues tracking systems by means of production rules. This model makes it possible to formulate declaratively conditions that the information containment should comply with and apply reasoning ...

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

LiDAR Data Integrity Verification for Autonomous Vehicle

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Deterministic perception of the surrounding environment is both crucial and a challenging task for autonomous vehicles. A wide range of sensors, including LiDAR, RADAR, cameras, and so on, are used to build the perception layer of an autonomous vehicle ...

A tool for verification of big-data applications

open access: yesProceedings of the 2nd International Workshop on Quality-Aware DevOps, 2016
Quality-driven frameworks for developing data-intensive applications are becoming more and more popular, following the remarkable popularity of Big Data approaches. The DICE framework, designed within the DICE project (www.dice-h2020.eu), has the goal of offering a novel profile and tools for data-aware quality-driven development.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Contracting with Risk Aversion and Subjective Beliefs Under Costly State Verification [PDF]

open access: yes
We study the loan contracing problem of Gale and Hellwig (1985) under general assumptions of risk aversion and possibly diverse subjective beliefs of the borrower and lender about the income of the investment.

Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.
