Balkhash-Alakol Basin animal world database creation process for the purpose of cadastre maintenance [PDF]

open access: yesBIO Web of Conferences
This paper describes the database (DB) development process of the cadastre of the fauna of the Balkhash-Alakol Basin that will be used for analyzing the spatial and temporal dynamics of population status and the graphical display of spatial data.

The decay rate of $\psi(2S)$ to $\Lambda_c+\bar{\Sigma^+}$ in SM and beyond

open access: yes, 2013
With rapid growth of the database of the BES III and the proposed super flavor factory, measurement on the rare $\psi(2S)$ decays may be feasible, especially the weak decays into baryon final states. In this work we study the decay rate of $\psi(2S)$ to $

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

dUTPase is essential in zebrafish development and possesses several single‐nucleotide variants with pronounced structural and functional consequences

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
dUTPases are involved in balancing the appropriate nucleotide pools. We showed that dUTPase is essential for normal development in zebrafish. The different zebrafish genomes contain several single‐nucleotide variations (SNPs) of the dut gene. One of the dUTPase variants displayed drastically lower protein stability and catalytic efficiency as compared ...

Multi‐omics and low‐input proteomics profiling reveals dynamic regulation driving pluripotency initiation in early mouse embryos

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Mouse pre‐implantation development involves a transition from totipotency to pluripotency. Integrating transcriptomics, epigenetic profiling, low‐input proteomics and functional assays, we show that eight‐cell embryos retain residual totipotency features, whereas cytoskeletal remodeling regulated by the ubiquitin‐proteasome system drives progression ...

Database Creation Through If, Vlookup, Sum and Sumif Functions of Microsoft Excel

open access: yesPrizren Social Science Journal, 2018
Using databases is a fundamental matter for every business and non-business related activities. Their creation is more important than their usage, because creating a software through which we could track stock status in a enterprise’s warehouse is a ...

Identification of condoms and lubricants by FTIR spectroscopy and creation a database

open access: yesMedicine Science
Biological evidence plays a crucial role in establishing a connection between the victim and the suspect in cases of sexual assault. However, the use of condoms during such offenses significantly reduces the likelihood of obtaining DNA from biological ...

The cooperative regulation of miR‐221 by APE1 and AUF1 impacts p27Kip1 defining a miR signature relevant for cervical cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
A regulatory axis involving APE1, AUF1, and miR‐221 is proposed. Pri‐miR‐221 is processed by DROSHA and DICER to generate mature miR‐221, which targets p27Kip1 mRNA. APE1 and AUF1 compete for pre‐miR‐221 binding. Reduced APE1/AUF1 levels impair miR‐221 biogenesis, decrease p27Kip1 mRNA degradation, and promote cell cycle progression, chemoresistance ...
