Holistic Retrieval of Absolute Coseismic Displacement Fields From Single Interferograms via Physics‐Aware GANs

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 6, 28 March 2026.
Abstract The efficacy of rapid seismic response is fundamentally constrained by the sequential, multi‐step nature of conventional InSAR processing, where error propagation and reliance on auxiliary data hinder automation. Here, we present a holistic framework using Physics‐Aware Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) to directly retrieve absolute ...

Compressible Flow Exfoliation of Two‐Dimensional Nanomaterials: Insights Into Layer Separation Informed by Gas Dynamics

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 6, 18 March 2026.
This study elucidates the mechanism of compressible flow exfoliation for producing 2D hexagonal boron nitride (h‐BN). Fluid dynamics analysis reveals that acceleration‐driven aerodynamic shear forces, rather than shock waves alone, drive effective layer separation.

Addressing Symbolic Versus Substantive Disclosures Under CSRD/ESRS E5 in the Circular Economy Disclosure of the Automotive Industry

open access: yesBusiness Strategy and the Environment, Volume 35, Issue 3, Page 4360-4375, March 2026.
ABSTRACT This study examines how European automotive companies disclose circular economy (CE) information in light of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS) E5. Using a mixed‐methods, data‐driven approach that combines keyword analysis and latent Dirichlet allocation (LDA ...

Dendrochronology and remote sensing reveal beaver occupancy and colonization dynamics in an expanding Arctic population

open access: yesEcosphere, Volume 17, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract The North American beaver (Castor canadensis) is expanding its distribution in the Arctic tundra. Due to the species' capacity to engineer ecosystems, they can transform surface water dynamics and biogeochemistry, permafrost stability, vegetation composition, and impact Indigenous subsistence practices.

Rapid ideal habitat selection in a homogeneous environment

open access: yesEcosphere, Volume 17, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Studies of density‐dependent habitat selection typically assess choices between two or more distinctly different habitat opportunities. Although such studies can clearly document habitat choice, they cannot unambiguously differentiate the effects of density from underlying differences in habitat and their associated cues for choosing some ...
