GBR 12909, a Selective Dopamine Transporter Inhibitor, Differentially Modulates Affective, Exploratory and Cognitive Domains in Zebrafish

Dopamine transporter inhibition is linked to bipolar disorder, a cyclic condition difficult to mimic in animal models. Here we observed that a single dose of GBR12909 disrupted zebrafish behaviour across multiple domains, triggering anxiety‐ and despair‐like states alongside impaired working memory and cognitive flexibility.

The Effects of Ocean Warming and Acidification on Fatty Acid Contents of Marine Organisms: A Global Meta‐Analysis

This global meta‐analysis across 132 marine species found that ocean warming decreases nutritional quality by reducing polyunsaturated fatty acids, including the health‐critical omega‐3 fatty acids EPA and DHA.
