Understanding the tensile ductility of a novel low-activation BCC high-entropy alloy deformed at intermediate temperature

open access: yes
Low-activation body-centered cubic (BCC) high-entropy alloys (HEAs) often possess poor tensile ductility. Here we report a novel low-activation VCrFeMn0.33 BCC HEA that exhibits good tensile ductility at 650 °C and above.

Protective claddings for high strength chromium alloys

open access: yes, 1971
The application of a Cr-Y-Hf-Th alloy as a protective cladding for a high strength chromium alloy was investigated for its effectiveness in inhibiting nitrogen embrittlement of a core alloy.
