Three-phase DC/AC power converter with power quality optimization
Introduction— The DC/AC power conversion systems currently used in multiple applications such as alternative energy sources involve power quality problems due to voltage regulations and distortions such as those caused by harmonic distortion. Objective— Develop a power converter prototype that, through a multi-objective genetic algorithm, allows ...

An Active Power Decoupling Method for Single Phase DC/AC DAB Converters [PDF]
The existence of the double grid frequency (100 Hz) ripple current in dc/ac dual active bridge (DAB) power converters can degrade their performance and as such these ripples need to be compensated. An active power decoupling method is proposed in this paper to attenuate the 100-Hz current ripple in single phase dc/ac DAB converters.

Low threshold DC–AC power converter with optimized standby power consumption
The quest for universal energy access continues to be a major concern globally. Renewable energy technologies such as solar PV are viable options to meet this energy poverty with DC–AC power converters playing a major role in solar PV systems. Current designs of these converters suffer from high standby energy consumption and high input threshold ...

Modelling approaches for DC-DC converters with switched capacitors
In this paper we review relevant problems in the modelling of DC-DC converters with switched capacitors. We study several approaches that overcome the exposed modelling difficulties, addressing ideal and nonideal cases and using dynamic equations that ...

Wireless power transfer using Class E inverter with saturable dc-feed Inductor [PDF]
Resonant converters used as coil drivers in inductive links generally operate efficiently at optimum switching conditions for constant load values and ranges. Changes in load and range can shift the operation of the coil driver to a non-optimum switching

Synthesis of input-rectifierless AC/DC converters [PDF]
This paper discusses the basic construction procedure and topological possibilities of creating ac/dc converters out of simple dc/dc converters. It is shown that two separately controlled dc/dc converters are sufficient for producing a regulated dc ...
