A multilevel modular DC–DC converter topology [PDF]

open access: yesMathematics and Computers in Simulation, 2017
A multilevel modular DC-DC power conversion topology based on cascaded H-Bridge converters in a double П configuration is presented. The topology is intended to interconnect large power DC networks. A two level control hierarchy is used to regulate the DC voltage of each H-bridge module.

Measurement-based modeling of a DC-DC converter for the bill of material prediction [PDF]

open access: yes, 2022
The topic of the project is the modeling of a DC-DC converter that allows to predict its behavior. The idea is to create a systematic methodology that reduces the amount of time, costs and complexity of the stability assessment.

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Current-Limiting DC/DC Power Converters [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology, 2019
A new nonlinear control framework that guarantees the desired regulation (voltage, current, or power) with an inherent current-limiting capability for different types of dc/dc power converters is presented in this brief. This framework is based on the idea of applying a virtual resistance in series with the inductor of the converter, which changes ...

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Design of an On-Chip Hybrid DC/DC Converter [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Latin America Transactions, 2015
This paper presents the design of a hybrid on-chip VLSI DC/DC converter for low to medium integrated circuit power consumption that combines a switching and a linear regulator in parallel. The main goal is to take the best of both approaches, obtaining good power efficiency as in switching DC/DC converters, with small voltage output ripple as in linear

Patient therapy outcome modeling in cancer organoids is improved by cancer‐associated fibroblasts and organoid assembly convolution

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Patient‐derived organoids (PDOs) from pancreatic, colorectal, and gastric cancers were used to evaluate standard and experimental therapies. Incorporating cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) into organoid cultures improved patient therapy outcome prediction.

Design Method of Double-Boost DC/DC Converter with High Voltage Gain for Electric Vehicles

open access: yesWorld Electric Vehicle Journal, 2020
Direct current to direct current (DC/DC) converters are required to have higher voltage gains in some applications for electric vehicles, high-voltage level charging systems and fuel cell electric vehicles. Therefore, it is greatly important to carry out

Soft-Switching Full-Bridge DC-DC Converter with Energy Recovery Capacitor Snubber

open access: yesEnergies, 2023
This paper describes a high-frequency soft-switching dc-dc converter with a simple energy recovery capacitor snubber on the secondary side. The presented dc-dc full-bridge converter with the energy recovery snubber removes the main drawbacks of the ...
