Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

A RISC-V Vector Processor With Simultaneous-Switching Switched-Capacitor DC-DC Converters in 28 nm FDSOI [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
This work demonstrates a RISC-V vector microprocessor implemented in 28 nm FDSOI with fully integrated simultaneous-switching switched-capacitor DC-DC (SC DC-DC) converters and adaptive clocking that generates four on-chip voltages between 0.45 and 1 V ...

DENDRITIC CELL DIFFERENTIATION BLOCKED BY PRIMARY EFFUSION LYMPHOMA-RELEASED FACTORS IS PARTIALLY RESTORED BY INHIBITION OF P38 MAPK [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
To better understand the molecular mechanisms underlying the dendritic cell (DC) defects in cancer, we analyzed which signaling pathway is implicated in the abnormal monocyte differentiation into DC determined by the presence of Primary effusion lymphoma

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Drude weight and dc-conductivity of correlated electrons

open access: yes, 1995
The Drude weight $D$ and the dc-conductivity $\sigma_{dc} (T)$ of strongly correlated electrons are investigated theoretically. Analytic results are derived for the homogeneous phase of the Hubbard model in $d = \infty$ dimensions, and for spinless ...

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

Linear-assisted DC/DC converters with modified current-mode control applied to photovoltaic solar systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
This article shows the proposal of a current-mode one-cycle control for linear-assisted DC/DC converters. Linearassisted DC/DC converters are structures that allow to take advantages of the two classic alternatives in the design of power supply systems ...

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Antigen presenting capacity of murine splenic myeloid cells [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
BACKGROUND: The spleen is an important site for hematopoiesis. It supports development of myeloid cells from bone marrow-derived precursors entering from blood. Myeloid subsets in spleen are not well characterised although dendritic cell (DC) subsets are
