Control Strategy Based on Arm-Level Control for Output and Circulating Current of MMC in Stationary Reference Frame

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
This paper proposed a control method for output and circulating currents of modular multilevel converter (MMC). The output and circulating current are controlled with the help of arm currents, which contain DC, fundamental frequency, and double frequency

Multiple-Output DC-DC Converters with a Reduced Number of Active and Passive Components [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Low Power Electronics and Applications, 2019
Multiple-output converters have been widely used where individual outputs are required. Compared with conventional separate converters, the advantage of multiple outputs is to have a lower number of active and passive components. In this paper, first, a pulse-width-modulation (PWM)-pulse-frequency-modulation (PFM) method is used for two-output ...

High density packaging of the passive components in an automotive DC/DC converter

open access: yes2002 IEEE 33rd Annual IEEE Power Electronics Specialists Conference. Proceedings (Cat. No.02CH37289), 2003
In this paper a very high power density DC/DC converter module for automotive applications is investigated. The 14 V/42 V converter is specified to operate at a power level of 2.1 kW with a water cooled heatsink at 85/spl deg/C. The design and implementation of very high density passive components is discussed.

Blind Modulation Format Identification Using the DC Component

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2019
We propose a blind modulation format identification (MFI) method based on direct-current (DC) component for coherent receivers. The DC value is affected by the distributions of received signal's modulated phase and amplitude. A monitoring factor R

Novel Design Methodology for DC-DC Converters Applying Metaheuristic Optimization for Inductance Selection

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
Nowadays in modern industrial applications, where the power supply efficiency is more important than the output noise performance, DC-DC converters are widely used in order to fulfill the requirements.

The Role of Space Charge on Corona Inception Threshold Conditions in Rod-Plane Air Gaps at DC/AC Combined Voltages

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
This work investigates the corona inception voltage and the motion of space charge near a rod-plane electrode under combined DC-AC voltages. For a high AC component, the corona inception voltage of the equivalent negative corona exceeds that of the ...

Emapalumab for Immune Effector Cell‐Associated Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis‐Like Syndrome Following CD19‐Directed CAR‐T in Two Patients With B‐ALL: Clinical and Biomarker Correlates

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Immune effector cell‐associated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis‐like syndrome (IEC‐HS) is a life‐threatening hyperinflammatory toxicity distinct from cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurotoxicity following chimeric antigen receptor T‐cell (CAR‐T) therapy. In a single‐institution retrospective cohort of pediatric and young adult patients

Artifacts reduction in strain maps of tagged magnetic resonance imaging using harmonic phase

open access: yesOpen Medicine, 2015
Tagged Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) is a noninvasive technique for examining myocardial function and deformation. Tagged MRI can also be used in quasistatic MR elastography to acquire strain maps of other biological soft tissues. Harmonic phase (HARP)
