Synergistic perspectives—How single‐molecule biophysics complement biochemical understanding

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this review, we discuss how ensemble biochemistry and single‐molecule approaches are complementary, outline commonly used single‐molecule techniques, and illustrate their relevance through two representative case studies: chromatin organization by SMC complexes and pathway choice during DNA double‐strand break repair.

Theoretical and Experimental Investigation of Switching Ripple in the DC-Link Voltage of Single-Phase H-Bridge PWM Inverters

open access: yesEnergies, 2017
Direct current (DC)-link voltage ripple analysis is essential for determining harmonic noise and for DC-link capacitor design and selection in single-phase pulse-width modulation (PWM) inverters.

Bundle Enrichment Method for Nonsmooth Difference of Convex Programming Problems

open access: yesAlgorithms, 2023
The Bundle Enrichment Method (BEM-DC) is introduced for solving nonsmooth difference of convex (DC) programming problems. The novelty of the method consists of the dynamic management of the bundle.

Effects of Passive Components on Designing a Three-Phase DC-DC Converter

open access: yesAsian Journal of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, 2021
This paper presents the impact of the inductor and exchanging recurrence of a three-stage DC-DC converter for potential application in an electric vehicle. The proposed DC-DC converter comprises the essential and auxiliary stages. The essential phase of the converter is made from total scaffold converter go about as information port which associated in

The role of miR‐335‐5p in the redifferentiation of BRAF p.V600E thyroid cancers

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The BRAF p.V600E mutation promotes thyroid cancer dedifferentiation and radioiodine resistance. Using a network approach, we identified miR‐335‐5p as a key regulator of BRAF‐mutated thyroid tumors. Restoring miR‐335‐5p increased thyroid‐specific gene expression and iodine uptake in cells and organoids.

DC-Compensated Current Transformer

open access: yesSensors, 2016
Instrument current transformers (CTs) measure AC currents. The DC component in the measured current can saturate the transformer and cause gross error.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

IMPDH inhibition enhances cytarabine efficacy in SAMHD1‐expressing leukaemia cells via guanine nucleotide depletion

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

Calculation of the periodic spectral components in a chaotic DC-DC converter

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Fundamental Theory and Applications, 1999
A simple mapping is derived, which describes the behavior of a peak current-mode controlled boost converter operating chaotically. The invariant density of this mapping is calculated iteratively and, from this, the power density spectrum of the input current at the clock frequency and its harmonics are deduced.
