AC/DC line touching fault protection scheme based on AC single-ended fault information

open access: yesAin Shams Engineering Journal
For hybrid parallel HVAC/HVDC overhead transmission lines (HPOTLs), the probability of AC/DC line touching faults (LTFs) between conductors of different systems are greatly increased. It is more conducive to the safety and stability of the system to deal

Optimization research on carrier phase-shifting modulation method of cascade multi-level inverter

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2014
The traditional carrier phase-shifting modulation method of cascade high-voltage inverter has the problems of large switching loss and low utilization rate of DC voltage, and modulation method based on combination of carrier phase-shifting and vector ...

Cyclic azapeptide CD36 ligand attenuates cardiac injury and reduces long‐chain fatty acid accumulation after myocardial ischemia–reperfusion in mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.

A zero-crossing point prediction algorithm of short-circuit current for mine-used phase-controlled switching

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2020
The existing zero-crossing point prediction algorithms of short-circuit current have some problems, such as complex calculation and big error. For three-phase short-circuit fault of coal mine power supply system, a zero-crossing point prediction ...

Emerging insights into CC and CXC chemokines and their receptors in Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The dual roles of CC and CXC chemokines in distinguishing active, latent, and subclinical tuberculosis were reviewed, along with an evaluation of their potential as diagnostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets to advance precision medicine in tuberculosis management. The graphical abstract was generated with AI assistance (Gemini 3.0).

Spinal Cord Infarction Versus Idiopathic Transverse Myelitis: Clinical, Radiological, and Functional Insights From a Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction Spinal cord infarction (SCI) is a rare but devastating myelopathy, characterized by a high disability rate and an unfavorable prognosis. It has often been underdiagnosed and misdiagnosed as idiopathic transverse myelitis (ITM). This study aimed to describe the clinical features, radiological biomarkers, treatments, and functional ...

Fluid Biomarkers of Disease Burden and Cognitive Dysfunction in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Identifying objective biomarkers for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is crucial to improving diagnosis and establishing clinical trial and treatment endpoints. This study evaluated fluid biomarkers in PSP versus controls and their associations with regional 18F‐PI‐2620 tau‐PET, clinical, and cognitive outcomes.

DC Offset Error Compensation Algorithm for PR Current Control of a Single-Phase Grid-Tied Inverter

open access: yesEnergies, 2018
In a single-phase grid-tied inverter, the direct current (DC) offset error included in the measured grid side phase current has various causes, such as a non-ideal current sensor, unbalanced power supply of an operational amplifier, and nonlinear ...

Innate Immune Reprogramming Mediated by Endogenous Retroelement Dysregulation Drives Multiple Sclerosis Progression

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
Epigenetic reprogramming in hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) and downstream myeloid cells, mediated by H3.3 downregulation and endogenous retroelement (ERE) overexpression, contributes to the progression of multiple sclerosis (MS). ABSTRACT Background Skewed myelopoiesis in the bone marrow has been identified as a key driver of multiple ...

Colorectal mucus binds DC-SIGN and inhibits HIV-1 trans-infection of CD4+ T-lymphocytes.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2015
Bodily secretions, including breast milk and semen, contain factors that modulate HIV-1 infection. Since anal intercourse caries one of the highest risks for HIV-1 transmission, our aim was to determine whether colorectal mucus (CM) also contains factors
