Decoupled PWM Control of a Dual-Inverter Four-Level Five-Phase Drive [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper studies pulse-width modulation (PWM) techniques suitable for a four-level five-phase open-end winding (OeW) drive. The drive comprises a five-phase induction machine, supplied using two two-level voltage source inverters (VSIs) with isolated ...

A new space-vector-modulation algorithm for a three-level four-leg NPC inverter [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
For power conversion systems interfaced to 4-wire supplies, four-leg converters have become a standard solution. A four-leg converter allows good compensation of zero-sequence harmonics and full utilization of the dc-link voltage.

Exploring Dipolar Dynamics and Ionic Transport in Metal‐Organic Frameworks: Experimental and Theoretical Insights

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In this study, the interplay of dipolar dynamics and ionic charge transport in MOF compounds is investigated. Synthesizing the novel structure CFA‐25 with integrated freely rotating dipolar groups, local and macroscopic effects, including interactions with Cs cations are explored.

Enhancing Optoelectronic Properties in Phthalocyanine‐Based SURMOFs: Synthesis of ABAB Linkers by Avoiding Statistical Condensation with Tailored Building Blocks

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A novel phthalocyanine (PC)‐based metal–organic framework (MOFs) is synthesized using ditopic PC linkers obtained through regioselective statistical condensation. The resulting MOF exhibits significant improvements in electronic absorption, thereby enhancing the material's performance in light harvesting and energy conversion.

The Alternate Arm Converter (AAC) - "short-overlap" mode operation - analysis and design parameter selection [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
This paper presents converter operation principles and theoretical analyses for “short-overlap” mode operation of the Alternate Arm Converter (AAC), which is a type of modular multilevel Voltage Source Converter (VSC) that has been proposed for HVDC ...

Composites of Shellac and Silver Nanowires as Flexible, Biobased, and Corrosion‐Resistant Transparent Conductive Electrodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Shellac, a centuries‐old natural resin, is reimagined as a green material for flexible electronics. When combined with silver nanowires, shellac films deliver transparency, conductivity, and stability against humidity. These results position shellac as a sustainable alternative to synthetic polymers for transparent conductors in next‐generation ...
