A Design of DC Offset Canceller using Parallel Compensation
2007 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2007In this paper, a new DC offset canceller with parallel compensation is proposed based on the CMOS technology. Compared to the previously reported DC offset cancellers, the proposed topology can be implemented with the lower HPCF (high pass cutoff frequency) in the silicon substrate using same capacitance value.

IIP2 and DC Offsets in the Presence of Leakage at LO Frequency
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs, 2006Device mismatch in a mixer is generally believed to be the major contributor of second-order distortion that limits the performance of a direct conversion receiver. In this brief, we show that even with perfect matching, leakage at local oscillator frequency prior to mixing creates large second-order distortion when the third-order input intercept ...

A method of estimating a DC offset value of a signal includes estimating a DC offset value of a preamble part of the signal using a pair of diodes (D1, D2) and a resistor (R) connected in parallel. During receipt of the data part of the signal, the diode pair (D1, D2) is switched out of the circuit by a switch (SW).

Voltage-offset resistive control for DC-DC converters in photovoltaic applications
2012 Twenty-Seventh Annual IEEE Applied Power Electronics Conference and Exposition (APEC), 2012Photovoltaic (PV) systems must be able to maintain stable operation near the maximum power point (MPP) regardless of environmental conditions. Voltage-offset resistive control (VRC) exhibits inherently low sensitivity to irradiance changes and supports effective inner-loop control to maintain MPP operation.

DC offset estimation in OFDM based WLAN application
IEEE Global Telecommunications Conference, 2004. GLOBECOM '04., 2005The effect of a DC offset on the OFDM wireless LAN (WLAN) signal could produce a severe performance degradation, especially for the high data rate transmission modes. Based on its analysis, it is shown which signal portion is most suitable for DC offset estimation.

Characterization of IIP2 and DC-offsets in transconductance mixers
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Analog and Digital Signal Processing, 2001Envelope distortion in transconductance mixers is analyzed in this paper. The analysis consists of a simplified theoretical study, simulation results, and measurements about several implemented mixers. The studied mixers are active single-balanced and double-balanced structures.

Simulation Analysis on DPD Performance with DC Offset
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013DC offset of the input analog signal I and Q of quadrature modulator which is as DAC and RF channel interface will affect bit error rate (BER) of the system, the quality of the emission signals and the overall effect of DPD[. This paper focuses on the influences of non-ideal characteristics quadradure modulator on DPD technology.

The problem and treatment of DC offsets in FDTD simulations
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 2000This paper discusses the causes of and some solutions to the commonly observed problem of DC field offsets in finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) simulations. DC electric and magnetic field offsets are shown to be valid calculated responses of the modeled systems, resulting from interaction between the turn-on characteristics of the source and the ...
