Moderate increase of MET in hepatocytes protects against cholestatic liver injury by promoting an effective antioxidant response

Identification and Distribution of Potentially Azole‐Resistant Airborne Fungi in Outdoor Environments of the Basque Country

Air samples collected at three areas in each province of the Basque Country (Spain) were incubated at 25°C and 37°C for Sabouraud plates (SAB) and at 37°C for plates supplemented with voriconazol (SAB‐VCZ). The potentially resistant isolates from SAB‐VCZ plates were identified and their abundance and diversity were determined.

Ferroptosis in Cancer and Inflammatory Diseases: Mechanisms and Therapeutic Implications

Ferroptosis, a form of cell death driven by iron and lipid peroxidation, serves as a bridge between cancer and inflammatory diseases. Microenvironmental factors such as oxidative stress collectively regulate this process. In cancer, ferroptosis exhibits dual roles: while it eliminates drug‐resistant cells, it may also promote tumor metastasis.
