Long noncoding RNA LINC00707 sponges miR-370-3p to promote osteogenesis of human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells through upregulating WNT2B

open access: yesStem cell research & therapeutics, 2019
Human bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (HBMSCs) are characterized by multiple differentiation potential and potent self-renewal ability, yet much remains to be elucidated on what determines these properties.

Impact assessment of earthquake early warning systems in Central America

open access: yesEarthquake Spectra, Volume 41, Issue 4, Page 3094-3122, November 2025.
Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) systems aim to alert users in advance of imminent shaking, enabling them to take action. In collaboration with local seismic agencies, the Swiss Seismological Service (SED), has developed national EEW systems across Central America.

Analysis of Expression and Functional Activity of Aromatic L-Amino Acid Decarboxylase (DDC) and Serotonin Transporter (SERT) as Potential Sources of Serotonin in Mouse Ovary

open access: yesInternational Journal of Molecular Sciences, 2019
The origin of serotonin in the ovary is the key question for understanding mechanisms of serotonergic regulation of reproductive function. We performed a study of the expression and functional activity of the serotonin transporter (SERT) and the enzyme ...

Plasma miR-370-3p As a Biomarker of Sepsis-Associated Encephalopathy, The Transcriptomic Profiling Analysis of Microrna-Arrays From Mouse Brains.

open access: yesShock, 2019
The diagnosis of sepsis-associated encephalopathy (SAE), an alteration of conscious from sepsis, is difficult due to the similarity to altered states of conscious that occur from other causes.

Ferroptosis in Cancer and Inflammatory Diseases: Mechanisms and Therapeutic Implications

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 6, Issue 9, September 2025.
Ferroptosis, a form of cell death driven by iron and lipid peroxidation, serves as a bridge between cancer and inflammatory diseases. Microenvironmental factors such as oxidative stress collectively regulate this process. In cancer, ferroptosis exhibits dual roles: while it eliminates drug‐resistant cells, it may also promote tumor metastasis.

Bone morphogenetic protein 9 as a key regulator of liver progenitor cells in DDC-induced cholestatic liver injury

open access: yesLiver international (Print), 2018
Bone morphogenetic protein 9 (BMP9) interferes with liver regeneration upon acute injury, while promoting fibrosis upon carbon tetrachloride‐induced chronic injury. We have now addressed the role of BMP9 in 3,5 diethoxicarbonyl‐1,4 dihydrocollidine (DDC)‐

Fluorene‐Arylamine Copolymers: Separable Control of Hole Transport and Light Emission Through Composition and Conformation

open access: yesJournal of Polymer Science, Volume 63, Issue 9, Page 2113-2121, 1 May 2025.
Copolymerization with arylamine initially reduces the mobility of the fluorene homopolymer due to trapping but increases with higher arylamine content, demonstrating that mobility in these copolymers is governed by chemical composition. While fluorene β‐phase conformation plays a minor role in transport, it strongly influences emission.

hsa_circ_0061140 Knockdown Reverses FOXM1-Mediated Cell Growth and Metastasis in Ovarian Cancer through miR-370 Sponge Activity

open access: yesMolecular Therapy: Nucleic Acids, 2018
Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a class of noncoding RNAs that regulate gene expression at the posttranscriptional level. The specific functions of circRNAs in ovarian cancer are yet to be established.
