Biomolecular Affinities and Cytotoxicity of Copper(I) and Silver(I) Phosphine–Pyridinyl Complexes Against CACO‐2 and CASKI Cell Lines

This study reports Copper(I) and Silver(I) complexes with pyridinyl Schiff base ligands and triphenylphosphine. Their DNA/protein binding and in vitro cytotoxicity were evaluated. All complexes intercalated with calf thymus DNA, bound strongly to proteins, and showed notable cytotoxicity against Caco‐2 and Caski cancer cells, highlighting their promise

Guidelines for preparation and flow cytometry analysis of human nonlymphoid tissue DC

We here provide detailed protocols for isolating single cell suspension from human nonlymphoid tissues, such as gingiva, lung, intestine, skin, and different tumor tissues as well as tumor‐draining lymph nodes. The study presents a non‐viral vector for siRNA based on nanodiamond coated with a novel copolymer with tunable charge density. The properties of the vector are optimized by several physicochemical variables and polymer composition, and correlated with biological efficacy, cytotoxicity, and cell proliferation.

The Power of Synergism: A Novel Drug Combination for Improved Therapy of Glioblastoma

The study identified the PI3K/AKT/mTOR pathway as crucial for glioblastoma multiforme (GBM) progression, leading to a hypothesis of combining disulfiram (DSF) and 7‐ethyl‐10‐hydroxycamptothecin (SN‐38) for effective therapy. This combination showed significant synergy. It increased ROS production and inhibited GBM cell functions.
