ChemMedChem, Volume 19, Issue 23, December 2, 2024.A computational screening using cheminformatics and molecular docking has been performed on PTP1B. In vitro assays have revealed that 13‐cis‐retinoic acid is a competitive inhibitor. This is the first report of 13‐cis‐retinoic acid as PTP1B inhibitor, making it a valuable candidate for future research toward its repositioning.
