The Smarandache Curves on S12 and Its Duality on H02

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2014
We introduce special Smarandache curves based on Sabban frame on S12 and we investigate geodesic curvatures of Smarandache curves on de Sitter and hyperbolic spaces.

Graviton propagator in de Sitter space [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 1986
We consider the graviton propagator in a de Sitter background. The propagator depends upon the choice of a gauge-fixing term ${L}_{\mathrm{gauge}=1/2{F}^{2}}$, and we consider the ``\ensuremath{\epsilon} gauges'' with ${F}^{v}$=${\ensuremath{\nabla}}_{u}$(${h}^{\mathrm{uv}}$-\ensuremath{\epsilon}${g}^{\mathrm{uv}}$${h}^{\ensuremath{\sigma}}$${}_ ...

Interrogating the immune landscape of microsatellite stable RAS‐mutated colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
COLOSSUS project RAS‐mutated MSS colon cancer study explored transcriptomics and immune cell density by immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoscore (IS), ISIC/TuLIS scores, mutation counts, and detected different prevalences but similar microenvironment composition across immune markers with clinical relevance for future immunotherapy combination ...

Toward a consistent definition of holographic entanglement entropy in de Sitter space

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We investigate a new definition of holographic entanglement entropy in the framework of static patch holography for de Sitter space. Using the replica trick and twist operator formalism, we derive an entropy functional in dS3 expressed through de Sitter ...

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

The Vacuum of de~Sitter Space

open access: yes, 1994
To resolve infrared problems with the de~Sitter invariant vacuum, we argue that the history of the de~Sitter phase is crucial. We illustrate how either (1)~the diagonalization of the Hamiltonian for long-wavelength modes or (2)~an explicit modification of the metric in the distant past leads to natural infrared cutoffs.

Transition amplitudes in de Sitter space [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2012
Maldacena has shown that the wavefunction of the universe in de Sitter space can be viewed as the partition function of a conformal field theory. In this paper, we investigate this approach to the dS/CFT correspondence in further detail. We emphasize that massive bulk fields are dual to two primary operators on the boundary, which encode information ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...
