A teleportation protocol in Schwarzschild-de Sitter space

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We propose a new information transfer protocol for de Sitter space, using black holes as energy reservoirs. We consider antipodal observers in pure de Sitter space in the Bunch-Davis state.

Exceptional scalar theories in de Sitter space

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
The special galileon and Dirac-Born-Infeld (DBI) theories are effective field theories of a single scalar field that have many interesting properties in flat space. These theories can be extended to all maximally symmetric spaces, where their algebras of

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Spherical Symmetric Solutions for the Motion of Relativistic Membranes in the Schwarzschild-Anti de Sitter Space-Time

open access: yesJournal of Applied Mathematics, 2013
This paper concerns motion of relativistic membranes in the Schwarzschild-anti de Sitter space-time. We derive a nonlinear equation for relativistic membranes moving in the Schwarzschild-anti de Sitter space-time, discuss spherical symmetric solutions ...

Ultraviolet regularization in de Sitter space [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2006
The ultraviolet regularisation of Yukawa theory in de Sitter space is considered. We rederive the one-loop effective Candelas-Raine potentials, such that they agree with the corresponding Coleman-Weinberg potentials in flat space. Within supersymmetry, this provides a mechanism for the lifting of flat directions during inflation.

De sitter space and perpetuum mobile [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics of Atomic Nuclei, 2012
We give general arguments that any interacting non--conformal {\it classical} field theory in de Sitter space leads to the possibility of constructing a perpetuum mobile. The arguments are based on the observation that massive free falling particles can radiate other massive particles on the classical level as seen by the free falling observer.

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

On the temperature of gravitation in the de Sitter space-time

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2021
The temperature associated with gravitation as presented in the Unruh effect and Hawking temperature serves to link different areas of physics, such as gravity, statistical mechanics, and quantum physics. In this paper, teleparallel gravity is considered
