Multiobjective continuous time deadbeat control

Proceedings of the 1997 American Control Conference (Cat. No.97CH36041), 1997
We propose a control system design to satisfy multiconstraints in time and frequency domains based on the framework of continuous time deadbeat control. We introduce two conditions for the free parameter of H/sub /spl infin// suboptimal controllers corresponding to deadbeat control and H/sub /spl infin// norm constraints.

Deadbeat control using periodic feedback

The 23rd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 1984
Current efforts to develop simple control algorithms suitable for microprocessor implementation have led to a renewed interest in the effect of periodic output feed-back laws ui = fiyi, i ? 1 (1) on the closed-loop response of single-input, single-output, n-dimensional, discrete-time processes xi+1 = Axi + bui yi = cxi (2) Relative ease of ...

Deadbeat controller for SOPDT processes

2016 International Conference on Recent Advances and Innovations in Engineering (ICRAIE), 2016
A deadbeat controller for second order plus dead time (SOPDT) process is proposed in this paper. A proportional integral and derivative (PID) controller is designed using Smith predictor to compensate the dead time of the process. The control parameters are estimated using the property of digital deadbeat controller, and gain and phase margin criteria.

Deadbeat Control for PWM AC Chopper

Electric Power Components and Systems, 2004
This article presents a novel robust control technique for application to PWM AC choppers with ability of generating high quality sinusoidal waveforms with adjustable amplitudes over a wide range control. For this purpose a deadbeat based digital controller has been developed to perform tight closed-loop control of the AC chopper.

Feedback Deadbeat Control of 2-Dimensional Systems

1984
Summary: Deadbeat control is among the most popular types of control for 1- dimensional discrete-time systems. Here the problem of designing deadbeat controllers is considered and solved for the case of 2-dimensional (2D) systems. Two important cases are examined.

Deadbeat algorithms for multivariable process control

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1980
A process exhibits a deadbeat response when the error between input and output is reduced to zero in finite time. In this Paper design procedures for state feedback and minimal energy dynamic deadbeat controllers are presented. These controllers reduce the error between step input and output to zero, while at the same time assuring that the continuous ...

A special control law: deadbeat control

1995
Most of the methods we have considered so far have their origins in linear control laws for systems described by linear constant coefficient differential equations, with sampled data control studied by adapting those theories. Even in the nominally linear control law realm, however, it is possible to develop a special and interesting performance ...

Explicit parameterization of state deadbeat controllers

IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, 1992
Summary: A general state deadbeat control problem, without restricting it to the controllability indexes, is posed and solved. A new result for the explicit parameterization of the deadbeat controllers is obtained. By our parameterization, only the genuine independent free parameters appear in the deadbeat controllers.

PMSM Control by Deadbeat Predictive Current Control

2018
Considering classical framework imbalance and one-leap lag, an revised current controller is introduced in this work. Synchronous Motor using permanent magnet (PMSM) current control of is boosted up using this controller. By improving the current control, losses in the machine are minimized and machine performance can be improved.
