Enhanced Deadbeat Control Approach for Grid-Tied Multilevel Flying Capacitors Inverter
This paper proposes an enhanced Deadbeat Controller (DBC) for a grid-tied Flying Capacitors Inverter (FCI). The proposed DBC guarantees the balancing of the capacitors’ voltages while injecting current to the grid with lower Total Harmonics Distortion ...

Cytoplasmic p21 promotes stemness of colon cancer cells via activation of the NFκB pathway
Cytoplasmic p21 promotes colorectal cancer stem cell (CSC) features by destabilizing the NFκB–IκB complex, activating NFκB signaling, and upregulating BCL‐xL and COX2. In contrast to nuclear p21, cytoplasmic p21 enhances spheroid formation and stemness transcription factor CD133.

Development of therapies targeting cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) necessitates preclinical model systems that faithfully represent CAF–tumor biology. We established an in vitro coculture system of patient‐derived pancreatic CAFs and tumor cell lines and demonstrated its recapitulation of primary CAF–tumor biology with single‐cell transcriptomics ...

Evaluation of error bound for a DT sliding mode control with disturbance observer [PDF]
In this paper an estimate of the upper bound of control error for discrete-time implementation of a Sliding Mode Control (DTSMC) combined with disturbance observer is investigated. Having in mind application to PZT high bandwidth actuators and since high

A direct algorithm for state deadbeat control [PDF]
The authors propose a novel method for computing state deadbeat feedback gains from systems given in the staircase form. The proposed method uses only manipulations of given matrices, and hence is more direct than the existing method, which requires ...

Canonical form for deadbeat control
For a time-invariant completely controllable single-input system, a canonical form is established so that the required control sequence is given by the elements of the initial-state vector and so that closed-loop deadbeat control is always possible if the required state variable can be measured.

The LINC01116 long noncoding RNA is induced by hypoxia and associated with poor prognosis and high recurrence rates in two cohorts of lung adenocarcinoma patients. Here, we demonstrate that besides its expression in cancer cells, LINC01116 is markedly expressed in lymphatic endothelial cells of the tumor stroma in which it participates in hypoxia ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Reduction of discrete-time two-channel delayed systems [PDF]
In this letter, the reduction method is extended to time-delay systems affected by two mismatched input delays. To this end, the intrinsic feedback structure of the retarded dynamics is exploited to deduce a reduced dynamics which is free of delays ...

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.
