Upper Cervical Cord Area as a Biomarker of Conversion to Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Objective This study assessed whether upper cervical cord area (UCCA) measured on routine brain MRI can serve as a biomarker of conversion to SPMS. Methods This is a single‐center retrospective cohort study of RRMS patients with cross‐sectional and longitudinal analyses of clinical and MRI data. Future SPMS converters were matched by age, sex,

ABSTRACT Objectives Focal cortical dysplasia (FCD) is the most common etiology of drug‐resistant epilepsy in children. Focal to bilateral tonic–clonic seizures (FBTCS) mark a high risk of drug‐resistant epilepsy and involve thalamocortical circuitry in their generation and propagation.

DESIGNING DIGITAL CONTROLLERS FOR A CONTROLLED PLANT
This paper report contains an explanation of how to design a digital controller using the Laplace Transform to z-Transform conversion method. The objectives are that the controlled system should track step input with a reasonably small steady-state error

From Adult to Adolescent: Alignment in Clinical Trials and Outcomes in Axial Spondyloarthritis
Spondyloarthritis (SpA) is a group of chronic inflammatory diseases encompassing axial and peripheral forms, with up to 20% of patients developing symptoms before age 16. Despite this substantial pediatric burden, treatment options for juvenile‐onset SpA (JSpA), particularly those with axial disease (axJSpA), remain limited.

Deadbeat Control for Linear Systems with State Constraints
This paper presents a deadbeat control scheme for linear systems with state constraints. The proposed controller increases the number of steps on-line for the deadbeat tracking performance, satisfying given admissible state constraints. LMI conditions are given to minimize the unavoidable step delay.

A unified research data management framework for heterogeneous materials data is presented. The system integrates multimodal datasets using ontologies and knowledge graphs, enabling interoperability and FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, reusable) data principles. By linking data across scales and workflows, it supports reproducible, Artifitial

Stabilizing and deadbeat properties of receding-horizon controllers
ABSTRACT It is shown that receding-horizon controllers with horizon length N ≥ v (v being the controllability index of the system) stabilize a given discrete-time linear multi-variable system. Necessary and sufficient conditions for a receding-horizon controller to be a deadbeat controller are also given.

Towards Defect Phase Diagrams: From Research Data Management to Automated Workflows
A research data management infrastructure is presented for the systematic integration of heterogeneous experimental and simulation data required for defect phase diagrams. The approach combines openBIS with a companion application for large‐object storage, automated metadata extraction, provenance tracking and federated data access, thereby supporting ...
