Adaptive Neural Network-Based Control of a Hybrid AC/DC Microgrid [PDF]
In this paper, the behavior of a grid-connected hybrid ac/dc microgrid has been investigated. Different renewable energy sources - photovoltaics modules and a wind turbine generator - have been considered together with a solid oxide fuel cell and a ...

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

Beyond Basins of Attraction: Quantifying Robustness of Natural Dynamics
Properly designing a system to exhibit favorable natural dynamics can greatly simplify designing or learning the control policy. However, it is still unclear what constitutes favorable natural dynamics and how to quantify its effect.

Promiscuous stimulation of HSP70 ATPase activity by parasite‐derived J‐domains
The malaria parasite Plasmodium falciparum exports three highly homologous yet functionally divergent J‐domain proteins into human erythrocytes. Here, we show that J‐domains isolated from all three proteins effectively stimulate the ATPase activity of both endogenous host and exported parasite HSP70 chaperones.

Unbiased, optimal, and in-betweens: the trade-off in discrete finite impulse response filtering [PDF]
In this survey, the authors examine the trade-off between the unbiased, optimal, and in-between solutions in finite impulse response (FIR) filtering. Specifically, they refer to linear discrete real-time invariant state-space models with zero mean noise ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Constrained Finite Receding Horizon Linear Quadratic Control [PDF]
Issues of feasibility, stability and performance are considered for a finite horizon formulation of receding horizon control (RHC) for linear systems under mixed linear state and control constraints.

ABSTRACT Objective Accurate localization of epileptogenic tubers (ETs) in patients with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is essential but challenging, as these tubers lack distinct pathological or genetic markers to differentiate them from other cortical tubers.
