Solution structures of a series of cyclic lipodepsipeptides from Pseudomonas reveal that these specialized metabolites adopt left‐handed alpha helical conformations of only two types, being either ‘stapled’ or ‘catch‐pole’ helix. The particular modular distribution of the biosynthetic gene clusters is found to determine the extent of their conserved ...

The present paper proposes Fuzzy Moving Surface Second‐Order Super Twisting Sliding Mode Control (FMS‐SO‐ST‐SMC) for Direct Power Control (DPC) of a Shunt Active Power Filter (SAPF). This method offers flexibility and high robustness against external disturbances with low sensitivity to changes in system parameters that are effectively improved with ...

The search for metal‐based anticancer agents with improved efficacy and reduced side effects is ongoing. The activities of these anticancer drugs depend on their aqueous stability, substitutional reactivity at target sites (cytotoxicity) and nontarget sites (toxicity), as well as their transportation and cell bioavailability.

Differential Phase Contrast Imaging to Predict MSC Immune Function
This work employs quantitative differential phase contrast (qDPC) imaging technique to non‐invasively extract morphological features from live Mesenchymal Stromal Cells (MSCs) for single cell prediction on cell immunomodulatory capacity. This work establishes a foundation for scalable, non‐destructive monitoring of MSCs immunomodulatory capacity ...

We compared individuals with concordant (A+T+) and discordant (A−T+) CSF profiles, the latter showing elevated phosphorylated tau without evidence of amyloid accumulation. Gradient analyzes of structural and functional connectivity revealed distinct patterns: default mode network involvement in A+T+ and occipito‐temporal cortex involvement in A−T ...

A Novel Cultivation System for Germ Cell Proliferation and Sustaining Whole Testicular Niche
A hydrogel microneedle‐based system enables whole testicular cultivation, supporting spermatogonial proliferation and enhancing spermatogenesis in vitro. This ‘whole testicular spermatogonia pool’ (WTSP) significantly increases spermatid production and fertility potential in mice. This system also promotes spermatogonial expansion in human fetal testes,

Passive and Active Nonlinear Control of Ship Roll Motions Using U-Tube Tanks
A U-tube water tank is first designed to roll a ship floating on still water. The 6-degree of freedom (DOF) dynamic model of U-tube tank is derived and the effects of its parameters on ship roll motion are studied.

This study demonstrates that SenExo‐cCCT2 enables targeted delivery of cCCT2 to pancreatic cancer cells, where it disrupts IPO13‐mediated nuclear translocation of UBC9, impairing SUMOylation‐dependent DNA damage repair and inducing senescence. Senescent tumor cells secrete CXCL10 to recruit CD8⁺ T‐cells while upregulating PD‐L1.

Wasserstein Centroid‐Based Binary Classification for Distributional Data
ABSTRACT We introduce a binary classification method for analyzing random objects in a non‐linear space. Unlike traditional classification approaches that maximize the mean difference between groups and minimize within‐group variance based on Euclidean distance, we consider the distance that accounts for dissimilarities between two random objects under
