This study demonstrates that BNNT exposure disrupts lipid homeostasis in bronchial epithelial cell cultures and activates eicosanoid lipid biosynthesis, producing inflammatory lipid mediators like leukotrienes. These effects are more pronounced in asthmatic cell cultures compared to healthy ones.

Laser‐induced graphene (LIG) provides a scalable, laser‐direct‐written route to porous graphene architecture with tunable chemistry and defect density. Through heterojunction engineering, catalytic functionalization, and intrinsic self‐heating, LIG achieves highly sensitive and selective detection of NOX, NH3, H2, and humidity, supporting next ...

Searching for debris disks around isolated pulsars [PDF]
Different pieces of observational evidence suggest the existence of disks around isolated neutron stars. Such disks could be formed from supernova fallback when neutron stars are born in core-collapse supernova explosions. Efforts have been made to search for disks around different classes of pulsars, which include millisecond pulsars, young neutron ...

Tidal Disruption of Planetesimals from an Eccentric Debris Disk Following a White Dwarf Natal Kick
The surfaces of many white dwarfs are polluted by metals, implying a recent accretion event. The tidal disruption of planetesimals is a viable source of white dwarf pollution and offers a unique window into the composition of exoplanet systems.

Alphaviral Capsid Proteins Inhibit Stress Granule Assembly via Competitive RNA Binding With G3BP1
Stress granules exert antiviral functions. This study illustrates a conserved function of alphaviral capsid proteins in modulating stress granules. Oligomerization mediated by a helical motif coupled with a positively charged intrinsically disordered region (IDR) directly competes with G3BP1 for RNA binding, thereby disrupting G3BP1‐RNA liquid–liquid ...

A novel β‐cyclodextrin/bile acid‐based slide‐ring hydrogel was prepared via precise host–guest recognition and photopolymerization. This smart hydrogel dressing exhibited skin‐adaptive mechanical properties, pH‐responsive antibacterial activity, and integrated multi‐signal sensing (temperature, blood, and pressure) for advanced wound management ...

A cascade‐responsive MXene@Cu‐MOF/GelMA hydrogel is engineered as a “skeleton–backpack” platform for extensive tracheal repair. The MXene framework scavenges postoperative ROS and converts NIR light into mild hyperthermia, while the Cu‐MOF component provides pH/NIR‐responsive Cu2+ dosing for infection control, angiogenesis, and chondrogenesis.

Debris Disks: Probing Planet Formation [PDF]
Debris disks are the dust disks found around ~20% of nearby main sequence stars in far-IR surveys. They can be considered as descendants of protoplanetary disks or components of planetary systems, providing valuable information on circumstellar disk evolution and the outcome of planet formation. The debris disk population can be explained by the steady
