Debris Disks And The Search For Life In The Universe
Circumstellar debris disks are the extrasolar analogues of the asteroid belt and the Kuiper belt. These disks consist of comets and leftover planetesimals that continuously collide to produce copious amounts of circumstellar dust that can be observed as infrared excess or in resolved imaging.

BioE is a new diiron oxygenase that catalyzes the conversion of long‐chain acyl groups into pimeloyl thioester, initiating biotin synthesis. The overexpression of EmBioE disrupts lipid metabolic homeostasis, requiring repressor BioL to maintain a balance between long‐chain fatty acids and biotin synthesis.

An Episode of Occultation Events in Gaia21bcv
A previously unremarkable star near the Canis Major OB1/R1 association underwent an episode of multiple deep brightness minima. Light curves based on archival Gaia, Zwicky Transient Facility (ZTF), and NEOWISE data and additional observations from the ...

This seminal study highlights the interwoven and tightly regulated functions of brain‐derived extracellular vesicles. Using microfluidics, proteomics, and AI‐based electric signal analyses of cortical brain explants, this work provides a useful resource dataset revealing the composition of human brain‐derived extracellular vesicles obtained from ...

Extending the ALMA Census of Circumstellar Disks in the Upper Scorpius OB Association
We present Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) Band 7 continuum (340 GHz) and carbon monoxide (CO) J = 3–2 observations for an extended sample of disks in the Upper Scorpius OB Association (Upper Sco, age ∼10 Myr).

Mechanical Force Storage and Reprogramming Hydrogel for Scarless Repair of Sports Joint Wounds
Inspired by the energy conversion of tendons, the “energy transit station” hydrogel is designed. The hydrogel not only shields stress concentration in sports injuries, but also reprograms energy forms to provide reasonable biomimetic contraction for wounds.

Debris disks, which are optically thin, dusty disks around main-sequence stars, are often found to have structures and/or asymmetries associated with planet–disk interactions.

Molecular Insights into Fungal Glycosylphosphatidylinositol Transamidase Complex
The glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI) biosynthesis pathway is critical for antifungal drug development. This study reports three cryo‐electron microscopy structures of fungal GPI transamidase (GPIT), captured in two substrate‐bound states and a novel dimeric assembly.

Microlensing Constraints on the Stellar and Planetary Mass Functions
The mass function (MF) of isolated objects measured by microlensing consists of both a stellar and a planetary component. We compare the microlensing MFs of A. Gould et al. and T. Sumi et al. to other measurements of the MF. The abundance of brown dwarfs
