NNLO+NNLL predictions for heavy-jet mass and C-parameter in Higgs decays to quarks and gluons

open access: yesPhysics Letters B
We consider the resummation of large logarithmic corrections arising in the two-particle limit at next-to-next-to-leading logarithmic (NNLL) accuracy for the heavy-jet mass and C-parameter distributions in the decay of a Higgs boson to quarks and gluons:

Real‐World Longitudinal Data on the Impact of Hydroxychloroquine Blood Level Monitoring on Lupus Outcomes: Results of a Prospective Longitudinal Cohort Study

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) is a cornerstone therapy in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), but the weight‐based dosing does not account for clinical factors that can introduce individual variability in drug metabolism and clearance. We leveraged longitudinal data from a prospective SLE cohort to identify clinical factors that predict ...

Leptogenesis in exponential f(R) gravity model

open access: yesNuclear Physics B
We show that gravitational leptogenesis with dynamical CPT breaking in an expanding universe can be reconciled with the exponential f(R) gravity model, which introduces only one additional parameter β compared to the standard ΛCDM cosmology.

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, Volume 39, Issue 3, Page 566-581, March 2025.
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

Non-exponential current decay in first-order circuits with finite time constants

open access: yesPhysics Open
We present a theoretical framework, derived from Maxwell’s equations for conducting media, to describe transient current decay in circuits with finite time constants. The temporal behaviour of the current is shown to be governed by a single dimensionless

Observer‐Based Adaptive Event‐Triggered Tracking Control for Fuzzy TS Systems With Premise Mismatch

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This paper presents an adaptive logistic event‐triggered observer‐based tracking controller for Takagi‐Sugeno fuzzy systems under constrained inputs and network delays. Leveraging a hybrid LMI and Secretary Bird Optimization approach, this strategy significantly minimizes communication overhead and computational burden while ensuring optimal reference ...

APAED: Time-Optimized Adaptive Parameter Exponential Decay Algorithm for Crowdsourcing Task Recommendation

open access: yesApplied Sciences
The explosive growth of tasks on crowdsourcing platforms has intensified information overload, making it difficult for workers to spot lucrative bids; yet mainstream recommenders inherit a user-independence assumption from e-commerce and therefore ...

Study of neutron beta decay with the Nab experiment [PDF]

open access: yesEPJ Web of Conferences
The current three sigma tension in the unitarity test of the Cabbibo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix is a notable problem with the Standard Model of elementary particle physics.

Dalitz Plot Study of the Charmless Decay B+ -> Ks pi + pi0 with the BABAR Detector [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
This thesis presents preliminary measurements of decays of B mesons in charmless final states, by using a data sample of 365 millions of B+B- pairs collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II Asymmetric B Factory, located at the Stanford Linear ...
