The aim of this paper is to investigate the influence of vertical fastener stiffness on the sound power characteristics of rail rolling noise. The rail mobility is obtained by using the Timoshenko-beam track model and the spectral element method.

The Radiative Δ(1600) → γN Decay in the Light-Cone QCD Sum Rules
Within the framework of the light-cone QCD sum rules method (LCSR’s), the radiative Δ(1600)→γN decay is studied. In particular, the magnetic dipole moment GM1(0) and the electric quadrupole moment GE1(0) are estimated.

Measurement of the decay rate of the radiative Ke30 decay
Abstract Data from the NA31 experiment at CERN have been used to measure the decay K L → π ± e ± νγ ( K e 3 γ 0 ). 1384 ± 53 events of this decay type have been observed. The decay rate relative to K e 3 0 is found to be Γ(K e3γ 0 , E γ ∗ ≥ 30 MeV , Θ e-γ ∗ ≥ 20°) Γ(K e3 0 ...

Differential decay rate for B → πlν semileptonic decays [PDF]
Abstract We present our study on B → π l ν semileptonic decay form factors using NRQCD action for heavy quark. In the analysis, we use the form factors f 1 (υ· k π ) and f 2 (υ· k π ) defined in the context of heavy quark effective theory by Burdman et al. .

Photodegradation is a key process impacting the lifetime of oxalate in the atmosphere, but few studies investigated this process in the field due to the complex mixing and sources of oxalate. Oxalate-containing particles were measured via single-particle

The decay rate asymmetry of the top quark [PDF]
The asymmetries ${\cal A}_k \equiv [Γ(\twddec) -Γ(\tbwddec)] /[Γ(\twddec) + Γ(\tbwddec)]$ in the partial widths of the top quark decays are discussed within the Standard Model (SM), the Two-Higgs-Doublet Model (2HDM) and supersymmetric extensions of the SM (SSM).

Validation of Chlorine Decay Equation for Water Quality Analysis in Distribution Networks
This article discusses the extent of the spread of contamination in water distribution networks which may enter through a pipe leak, and the decay rate of chlorine for a specified design duration. A comprehensive water quality analysis is performed using
