A note on decay rates for Schrödinger’s equation [PDF]
Summary: We prove the existence of solutions of the Schrödinger equation on \( \mathbb{R}^N\) which decay, in various \( L^p\) spaces, at different rates along different time sequences going to infinity. We establish a similar result for a nonlinear Schrödinger equation.

Decay of Airborne Bacteria from Cattle Farm Under A-Band Ultraviolet Radiation
Inspired by the effects of solar or UV radiation on the decay of airborne bacteria during their transport, this study investigated the effect of UVA on the decay of airborne bacteria from cattle houses and analyzed the potential use of UVA to reduce ...

Distribution and growth rate of COVID-19 outbreak in Tamil Nadu: A log-linear regression approach
Background: Most of the countries are affected with the pandemic outbreak of the coronavirus infection. Understanding the severity and distribution in various regions will help in planning the controlling measures. Objectives: The objective was to assess

ABSTRACT Background Japan has one of the highest dialysis prevalence rates worldwide and a shrinking, aging population. Whether dialysis burden has entered a sustained post‐peak phase or whether recent declines partly reflect pandemic‐related disruptions remains uncertain.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

On the decay rate of the false vacuum
The finite size theory of metastability in a quartic potential is developed by the semiclassical path integral method. In the quantum regime, the relation between temperature and classical particle energy is found in terms of the first complete elliptic integral.
