Glueball Decay Rates in the Witten-Sakai-Sugimoto Model [PDF]
We revisit and extend previous calculations of glueball decay rates in the Sakai-Sugimoto model, a holographic top-down approach for QCD with chiral quarks based on D8 probe branes in Witten's holographic model of nonsupersymmetric Yang-Mills theory. The

The human gut microbiome across the life course
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Release and Degradation of Environmental DNA and RNA From Eels in Aotearoa New Zealand
Environmental DNA (eDNA) has become a crucial tool for detecting rare species and monitoring biodiversity. However, the prolonged persistence of eDNA in water complicates the precise determination of an organism's location based on an eDNA signal alone ...

Well-posedness and asymptotic stability for the Lamé system with internal distributed delay [PDF]
In this work, we consider the Lamé system in 3-dimension bounded domain with distributed delay term. We prove, under some appropriate assumptions, that this system is well-posed and stable.

Total decay and transition rates from LQCD
We present a new technique for extracting total transition rates into final states with any number of hadrons from lattice QCD. The method involves constructing a finite-volume Euclidean four-point function whose corresponding infinite-volume spectral ...

Spatial frequency decay rates.
(A) Each characteristic length scale is fit over the time interval of (τH,20∶00) to an exponential decay, . 95% confidence intervals of the fits are shown as black bars.

Decay rates for elastic-thermoelastic star-shaped networks
This work discusses the asymptotic behaviour of a transmission problem on star-shaped networks of interconnected elastic and thermoelastic rods. Elastic rods are undamped, of conservative nature, while the thermoelastic ones are damped by thermal effects.

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Effects of Multiplicative Noise in Bistable Dynamical Systems
This study explores the escape dynamics of bistable systems influenced by multiplicative noise, extending the classical Kramers rate formula to scenarios involving state-dependent diffusion in asymmetric potentials.
