Bulk resistance decay in CdTe

IEEE EUROCON 2009, 2009
Bulk resistance decay of cadmium telluride (CdTe) single crystals was investigated. The bulk resistance of each CdTe single crystal was measured during long time interval. The samples were placed into a cryostat. That allowed us to hold the temperature constant during the measurements and eliminate the illumination influence.

Second Order Electrical Resistivity Decay Quenched Aluminum

Journal of the Physical Society of Japan, 1970
Electrical resistivity has been measured on pure aluminum quenched from high temperatures (500°C∼600°C) and aged at low temperatures (-30°C∼-90°C). The decay of the quenched-in resistivity is perfectly second order after an initial transient. The process is concluded, from a discussion related to the clustering process of vacancies, to be controlled by

Decay Resistance and Physical Characteristics of Wood

Journal of Forestry, 1943
Abstract Various attempts have been made to find a physical characteristic of wood that would indicate its decay-resisting ability. Studies of leached heartwood and of leached and unleached sapwood of western redcedar conducted by the authors and reported in this paper showed no significant influence of either specific gravity or ring ...

DECAY RESISTANCE IN THE CYPRESS PINES

Australian Forestry, 1966
SUMMARY The resistance of the heartwood and sapwood of several species of the genus Callitris to attack by the brown rot fungus Coniophora olivacea has been compared. The heartwood of the three forms of C. columellaris, and also of C. macleayana proved to be highly resistant to attack. The heartwood of forms of C. preissii was resistant, and that of C.

Politics of decay and spatial resistance

Social & Cultural Geography, 2010
A historical and multi-cultural district called Istiklal challenges the Turkish claim as a secular, culturally Muslim, and ethnically Turkish nation. This region is at the heart of the republic: it is in the capital city of Turkey, Ankara, and within a region called Ulus, i.e.

Natural Decay Resistance of Wood

1975
This part of the Symposium was originally intended to deal with the decay process in resistant wood, as distinct from susceptible wood, but very little work has been done in this field. The present paper deals with the wider field of natural decay resistance. The topic has been comprehensively reviewed by Scheffer and Cowling (1966) and by Kumar (1971).
