Rheological and thermal degradation properties of hyperbranched polyisoprene prepared by anionic polymerization [PDF]

open access: yesRoyal Society Open Science, 2019
Hyperbranched polyisoprene was prepared by anionic copolymerization under high vacuum condition. Size exclusion chromatography was used to characterize the molecular weight and branching nature of these polymers.

Thermal decomposition and kinetics of plastic bonded explosives based on mixture of HMX and TATB with polymer matrices

open access: yesDefence Technology, 2017
This work describes thermal decomposition behaviour of plastic bonded explosives (PBXs) based on mixture of l,3,5,7-tetranitro- 1,3,5,7-tetrazocane (HMX) and 2,4,6- triamino-1,3,5-trinitrobenzene (TATB) with Viton A as polymer binder.

Decomposition kinetics of titanium slag in sodium hydroxide system

open access: yes, 2009
A novel process was proposed for preparing titanium dioxide by the decomposition of titanium slag in sodium hydroxide system under atmospheric pressure. The kinetics on the decomposition of titanium slag was mainly investigated.

Kinetic decomposition for kinetic models of BGK type

open access: yesJournal of Differential Equations, 2003
Kinetic BGK models describe the scalar conservation law at the microscopic scale. The transport equation and the convergence are obtained using the averaging lemma.

Decomposition Kinetics of Titania Slag in Eutectic NaOH-NaNO3 System

open access: yes, 2016
The decomposition kinetics and mechanism of titania slag in eutectic NaOH-NaNO3 system were studied in the temperature range 623 K to 723 K (350 A degrees C to 450 A degrees C). Decomposed products were examined using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron

Creating Ti–Fe α/β Alloys by Diffusion‐Driven Solid‐State Processing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study proposes making alloys containing fast diffusing elements that are difficult to produce by ingot metallurgy, by diffusion‐driven solid‐state HIP processing of elemental powders and low‐temperature homogenisation. Here, novel Fe‐Ti α–β alloys are formed having fine α–β lamellae, a small β prior grain size without significant intermetallics ...

Kinetics of Ti02 Photocatalytic Decomposition [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Our work demonstrates the decomposition results obtained using Ti02 coated paper at different pH, ionic strength, UV intensities, temperature and flow rates. A kinetic model ofTi02 photocatalytic decomposition of reactive azo dye (RBS) was developed for

Rafting of Ni‐Based Superalloys Under Multiaxial Load as Understood by Phase‐Field Simulations and Critical Experiments

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.
