Decomposition Method for Belief Reliability Analysis of Complex Uncertain Random Systems

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
Belief reliability is a new proposed reliability metric considering both aleatory and epistemic uncertainty. In belief reliability theory, system reliability analysis is a key component.

A light‐triggered Time‐Resolved X‐ray Solution Scattering (TR‐XSS) workflow with application to protein conformational dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

The New G-Double-Laplace Transforms and One-Dimensional Coupled Sine-Gordon Equations

open access: yesAxioms
This paper establishes a novel technique, which is called the G-double-Laplace transform. This technique is an extension of the generalized Laplace transform.

The decomposition method: Adomian decomposition method

open access: yes, 2021
Firstly, in this study, Adomian Decomposition Method is explained on problems which are in different types are related ordinary differential, partial differential and integral equations. The main purpose of this study is to examine the effect of thermal flux applied to a thick-walled cylinder which is made by composite materials.

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.

Solution of Linear Radiative Transfer Equation in Hollow Sphere by Diamond Difference Discrete Ordinates and Decomposition Methods

open access: yesSemina: Ciências Exatas e Tecnológicas
In this article, we present a methodology to solve radiative transfer problems in spherical geometry without other forms of heat exchange. We use a decomposition method based on the Adomian formulations, together with a diamond difference scheme and a ...

Predicting Epileptogenic Tubers in Patients With Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Using a Fusion Model Integrating Lesion Network Mapping and Machine Learning

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Accurate localization of epileptogenic tubers (ETs) in patients with tuberous sclerosis complex (TSC) is essential but challenging, as these tubers lack distinct pathological or genetic markers to differentiate them from other cortical tubers.

Unraveling the Molecular Mechanisms of Glioma Recurrence: A Study Integrating Single‐Cell and Spatial Transcriptomics

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Glioma recurrence severely impacts patient prognosis, with current treatments showing limited efficacy. Traditional methods struggle to analyze recurrence mechanisms due to challenges in assessing tumor heterogeneity, spatial dynamics, and gene networks.

Determining Countermeasures against Fault Currents Using a Decomposition Method Based on Fuzzy Fault Level Constrained Optimal Power Flow

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
This study applies a decomposed method to determine adequate countermeasures against excessive fault current levels in power systems. A set of candidate locations for the countermeasures such as bus splitting and current limiting reactors are pre-defined
