Impact of Clean Energy on CO2 Emissions and Economic Growth within the Phases of Renewables Diffusion in Selected European Countries

open access: yesEnergies, 2021
This study explores the impact of clean energy and non-renewable energy consumption on CO2 emissions and economic growth within two phases (formative and expansion) of renewable energy diffusion for three selected countries (France, Spain, and Sweden ...

On Decoupling in Banach Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Theoretical Probability, 2021
AbstractWe consider decoupling inequalities for random variables taking values in a Banach space X. We restrict the class of distributions that appear as conditional distributions while decoupling and show that each adapted process can be approximated by a Haar-type expansion in which only the pre-specified conditional distributions appear.

Service Decoupler [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 22nd European Conference on Pattern Languages of Programs, 2017
According to the service loose-coupling principle, service-oriented software should not be coupled to concrete services. To help developers in implementing dynamic decoupling in service invocation, the patterns of service adapter and abstraction have been adopted by the literature.

Business cycle – growth nexus: a review

open access: yesTechnological and Economic Development of Economy, 2015
Frequent reversals in business cycles pose the question whether country can achieve macroeconomic stability and/or economic growth by coordinating its economic policies. Thus, what is the role of economic policy within the short/long run in amplifying or

What drives greenhouse gas emissions? An international scoping review of academic studies in 2010–2019

open access: yesClimate Resilience and Sustainability, 2023
Greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions have increased globally 10% in the last decade, but there is a large variation in emissions trajectories by country. Understanding the main drivers of recent changes in GHG emissions is important to guide effective climate ...

Improving Specific Absorption Rate Efficiency and Coil Robustness of Self-Decoupled Transmit/Receive Coils by Elevating Feed and Mode Conductors

open access: yesSensors, 2023
Self-decoupling technology was recently proposed for radio frequency (RF) coil array designs. Here, we propose a novel geometry to reduce the peak local specific absorption rate (SAR) and improve the robustness of the self-decoupled coil.
