On a property of the entire dirichlet series with decreasing coefficients

Ukrainian Mathematical Journal, 1993
Let \(S^*_ \psi(A)\) be the class of entire Dirichlet series \[ F(s)= \sum^ \infty_{n=1} a_ n \exp\lambda n^ s,\quad s= \sigma+ it,\quad A= \{a_ n\} \] is a decreasing sequence with \(\sum^ \infty_{n=1} a_ n< +\infty\) and \(\lambda_ n\nearrow\infty\) as \(n\to\infty\) and \(\lambda_ n\leq {\log^ +(1/a_ n)\over \psi\log(1/a_ n)}\), where \(\psi\) is a ...

Decrease in Rat Uterine Estrogen Receptors during Aging: Physio- and Immunochemical Properties

Endocrinology, 1981
Rat uterine estrogen receptors decrease in concentration by about 45% between maturity (6-12 months) and senescence (22-24 months). No change in binding affinity occurs over this period. No age differences were observed in the thermostability, hormone-induced stability, or specificity of binding for various steroids.

Potent Nonimmunosuppressive Cyclophilin Inhibitors With Improved Pharmaceutical Properties and Decreased Transporter Inhibition

Journal of Medicinal Chemistry, 2014
Nonimmunosuppressive cyclophilin inhibitors have demonstrated efficacy for the treatment of hepatitis C infection (HCV). However, alisporivir, cyclosporin A, and most other cyclosporins are potent inhibitors of OATP1B1, MRP2, MDR1, and other important drug transporters.

Carbamylation Decreases the Cytotoxicity but not the Drug-Carrier Properties of Polylysines

Journal of Drug Targeting, 1995
The charge density of Poly(D-lysine) was reduced by the carbamylation of the lysyl residues with potassium cyanate. A decrease in the charge density of poly(D-lysine) by 25% and 50% reduced the cytotoxicity of the ligand to cultured L929 cells by a 5-, and a 20 to 25-fold level, respectively, as estimated by using either the viability or the protein ...

On some properties of trigonometric series with monotone decreasing coefficients

Analysis Mathematica, 1984
Let \(f(x)=a_ 0+\sum^{\infty}_{n=1}a_ n\quad \cos \quad nx\) and \(\tilde f(x)=\sum^{\infty}_{n=1}a_ n\quad \sin \quad nx,\) where \(a_ 1\neq 0\) and \(a_ n\downarrow 0\) (n\(\to \infty)\) and let \(s_ n(f;x)\), \(s_ n(\tilde f;x)\) denote respective partial sums of these series. The author proves that if \(s_ n(f;x)\geq 0\) (n\(\geq 1)\) and \(x\in (0,

A Property of the Entropy of a Decreasing Sequence of Measurable Partitions

Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2001
An entropy \(H(\xi^n)\) of decreasing sequences of measurable partitions was defined by A. Vershik. The paper is devoted to the growth rate of entropy of such sequences. Partitions \(\gamma= \gamma(A)= \{A,A^c\}\) and \(\gamma^{n+ 1}\), defined inductively, are considered. The main result of the paper: For every sequence of positive numbers \(\alpha_n\)

Does Wealth Decrease Victimization in Property Crime?: Evidence from Thailand

The relationship between wealth and property crime victimization remains debated in criminological research. This study examines this relationship using data from Thailand’s Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) conducted in 2019 and 2022. While the MICS wealth index serves as the primary measure, potential endogeneity issues arise from unobserved ...
