Low density parity check codes for dedicated short range communication (DSRC) systems
2009 IEEE Pacific Rim Conference on Communications, Computers and Signal Processing, 2009In this paper, we consider the performance of a dedicated short range communication (DSRC) system for intervehicle communications (IVC). The DSRC standard employs convolutional codes for forward error correction (FEC). The performance of the DSRC system is evaluated in three different channels with convolutional codes and regular LDPC codes.

IEEE INFOCOM 2017 - IEEE Conference on Computer Communications, 2017
The 5.9 GHz band is being actively explored for possible spectrum sharing opportunities between Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) and IEEE 802.11ac networks in order to address the increasing demand for bandwidth-intensive Wi-Fi applications. In this paper, we study the implications of this spectrum sharing to the performance of Wi-Fi systems.

Dedicated short-range communications (DSRC) for AHS services
IEEE Intelligent Vehicles Symposium, 2004, 2004The Japanese advanced cruise-assist highway system (AHS) provides driving support services through collaboration between the system and vehicle. AHS uses dedicated short-range communications (DSRC) for road-to-vehicle dialog that requires real-time and high-reliability operation.

On equalization for OFDM-dedicated short range communication (DSRC) modem
2000 IEEE International Conference on Personal Wireless Communications. Conference Proceedings (Cat. No.00TH8488), 2002Dedicated short range communication (DSRC) applications need flexible and robust air interface technology to support high data rate services. OFDM is a good candidate for DSRC applications in harsh mobile environments, with time and frequency-selective channels.

Dedicated short range communications (DSRC) for intelligent transport system
2006 IFIP International Conference on Wireless and Optical Communications Networks, 2006In an effort to develop a complete DSRC system for ITS application, the authors have studied a lot of experimental facts which they are exploiting for the design. The wireless technology has been chosen properly which is capable of tackling the severe interferences present in the open road.

Architecture of the dedicated short-range communications (DSRC) protocol
VTC '98. 48th IEEE Vehicular Technology Conference. Pathway to Global Wireless Revolution (Cat. No.98CH36151), 2002This paper describes the architecture and functional aspects of the dedicated short-range communications (DSRC) protocol. The DSRC provides a communication link between vehicles and roadside beacons for road transport and traffic telematics (RTTT) applications.

Micro-Controlled Based Vehicle Safety System Using Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC)
2009 Second International Conference on Emerging Trends in Engineering & Technology, 2009Many accidents occur today when distant objects or roadway impediments are not quickly detected. To avoid these accidents, longer-range safety systems are needed with real time detection capability. To avoid road traffic collisions, vehicles required to be broadcast their position and speed to nearby vehicles periodically.
