ABSTRACT This report describes the case of a 73‐year‐old woman with advanced undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma (UPS) who was intolerant to chemotherapy. Following amputation, she received sintilimab plus anlotinib and achieved a partial response with 76.6% tumor reduction.

[Retroperitoneal dedifferentiated liposarcoma: a case report].
A 64 year-old female visited our outpatient clinic with left dull flank pain. The ultrasonography and CT scans showed the large solid mass in 12 cm in maximum diameter, containing large area of fatty element, in the left retroperitoneal space.

A case report of perineal liposarcoma
Perineal localization of liposarcoma is extremely rare among all localization of soft tissue sarcoma. We report the case of 33-year-old man presenting a large perineal swelling.Throughout this case, we bring new insights into the surgical management ...

Syndecan-1 regulates adipogenesis: new insights in dedifferentiated liposarcoma tumorigenesis.
International audienceSyndecan-1 (SDC1/CD138) is one of the main cell surface proteoglycans and is involved in crucial biological processes. Only a few studies have analyzed the role of SDC1 in mesenchymal tumor pathogenesis.

Classification of liposarcoma into three biological types encompassing five subtypes, (a) well-differentiated/dedifferentiated, (b) myxoid/round cell, and (c) pleomorphic, based on morphologic features and cytogenetic aberrations, is widely accepted ...

A Case of Dedifferentiated Liposarcoma of the Spermatic Cord [PDF]
Liposarcomas are most commonly found in the extremities, in the retroperitoneum and, less often, in the head and neck area. The spermatic cord is a rare site of origin, accounting for about 4-7% of all liposarcomas.

Challenging dedifferentiated liposarcoma identified by MDM2-amplification, a report of two cases
Background Liposarcoma is the most frequent soft tissue sarcoma. Well differentiated liposarcoma may progress into dedifferentiated liposarcoma with pleomorphic histology.

CONTEXT.— The characteristic molecular signature for both atypical lipomatous tumor/well-differentiated liposarcoma and dedifferentiated liposarcoma is amplified sequences derived from chromosome 12q13-15, including MDM2 proto-oncogene (MDM2).
