In this paper, the modelling of deep-drawing processing using neural networks is established. The relationships between process parameter (material thickness, punch diameter, die-cavity diameter and materials-clearance ratio) and deep-drawing performance (the dimensional error of diameter and cylinder) are created, based on a neural network.

Hydro-Mechanical Deep-Drawing

An analysis, based on the energetic stability criterion combined with numerical calculations, for the hydraulic drawing of tapered cylindrical cups is developed in this paper. As the calculation shows, the limiting drawing ratio strongly depends on the pressure during hydraulic drawing. The theoretical and experimental results agree wall.

Abstract This article illustrates the mechanics of the deep drawing of a cylindrical cup. It discusses the fundamentals of drawing and drawability. Sheet metal is drawn in either hydraulic or mechanical presses. The article summarizes the defects in drawing and factors considered in press selection for drawing.
