Fast and Accurate Image Super-Resolution with Deep Laplacian Pyramid Networks [PDF]
Convolutional neural networks have recently demonstrated high-quality reconstruction for single image super-resolution. However, existing methods often require a large number of network parameters and entail heavy computational loads at runtime for ...

ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Osteosarcoma is a radioresistant tumor that may benefit from stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) for locoregional control in metastatic/recurrent disease. We report institutional practice patterns, outcomes, toxicity, and failures in osteosarcoma patients treated with SBRT.

A deep learning approach to diabetic blood glucose prediction
We consider the question of 30-minute prediction of blood glucose levels measured by continuous glucose monitoring devices, using clinical data. While most studies of this nature deal with one patient at a time, we take a certain percentage of patients ...

Deep Contrastive Representation Learning With Self-Distillation
Recently, contrastive learning (CL) is a promising way of learning discriminative representations from time series data. In the representation hierarchy, semantic information extracted from lower levels is the basis of that captured from higher levels ...

Lifestyle Behaviors and Cardiotoxic Treatment Risks in Adult Childhood Cancer Survivors
ABSTRACT Background Higher doses of anthracyclines and heart‐relevant radiotherapy increase cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk. This study assessed CVD and CVD risk factors among adult childhood cancer survivors (CCSs) across cardiotoxic treatment risk groups and examined associations between lifestyle behaviors and treatment risks.

Deep Level Defects in He-implanted n-6H-SiC Studied by Deep Level Transient Spectroscopy [PDF]
AbstractDeep level transient spectroscopy (DLTS) was used to study deep level defects in He-implanted n-type 6H-SiC samples. Low dose He-implantation (fluence ∼2×1011 ions/cm2) has been employed to keep the as-implanted sample conductive so that studying the introduction and the thermal evolution of the defects becomes feasible.

ABSTRACT We present two pediatric cases of pediatric low‐grade gliomas (PLGG) with BRAF V600E mutations diagnosed and monitored using cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) liquid biopsy analyzed via digital droplet PCR (ddPCR), without tissue biopsy. Both patients were treated with dabrafenib and trametinib and monitored through clinical assessments, magnetic ...
