Default Reasoning with a Constraint Resolution Principle
. Common non-monotonic deduction systems such as Reiters default logic or inheritance networks must handle the multiple extension problem, i.e. generally they have distinct consistent sets of conclusions (extensions) which can be drawn from a theory ...

PlantGFM: A Genomic Foundation Model for Discovery and Creation of Plant Genes
A plant genomic foundation model pre‐trained on 12 species enables both accurate gene prediction and de novo gene design. Through AI‐human knowledge screening, seven designed sequences showed transcriptional activity in plants, with two expressing stable proteins—demonstrating the first DNA‐RNA‐protein expression of LLM‐generated genes in plants and ...

SMAD4 is identified as a guardian of 3D genome architecture in lung squamous cell carcinoma. Loss of SMAD4 unleashes EP300 at chromatin loop anchors, strengthening enhancer–promoter looping and H3K27ac at the SOX2 locus to drive aberrant SOX2 activation and tumor cell proliferation.

Argumentation-Theoretic Proof Procedures for Default Reasoning
We present a succession of presentations of an argumentation-theoretic proof procedure that applies uniformly to a wide variety of logics for default reasoning, including Theorist, default logic, logic programming, autoepistemic logic, non-monotonic ...

A defeasible logic programming approach to the integration of rules and ontologies
The Semantic Web is a vision of the current Web where resources have exact meaning assigned in terms of ontologies, thus enabling agents to reason about them.

Antimicrobial resistance caused by Gram‐negative bacteria remains difficult to overcome due to the protective outer membrane. To address this challenge, a multi‐condition constrained generative AI framework, GenMTAMP is proposed for de novo membrane‐targeting antimicrobial peptide design by integrating physicochemical and spatial structure descriptors.

Placental Site Trophoblastic Tumor Acquires Immune Functions by Incorporating Host Maternal Genes
PSTT cells, through cell fusion with B cells, incorporate abundant non‐inherited maternal genes that are detectable by DNIMA. These hybrid cells acquire immunotherapy‐resistant genetic changes and increase the expression of B cell‐derived immune‐related molecules such as Ig, HLA, LILRB, SIGLEC10, and so on, creating an immunotolerant environment around

Periprosthetic joint infection establishes a sophisticated immunosuppressive network between CXCR4+ PMN‐MDSCs and Bregs, inducing profound CD8+ T cell paralysis. Alendronate effectively disrupts this CXCR4+ PMN‐MDSC–Breg axis by targeting STAT3, thereby restoring local immune surveillance.

PSEUDO EXTENSION AND BELIEF REVISION IN DEFAULT REASONING
This paper is concerned with the extension and the belief revision in Reiter\u27s default reasoning. First we introduce a new notion of pseudo extension which is successively constructed from a given default theory.
