Fabric Defect Detection System

2021
Fabric inspection is very significant in textile manufacturing. Quality of fabric defends on vital activities of fabric inspection to detect the defects of fabric. Profits of industrialists have been decreased due to fabric defects and cause disagreeable loses.

Texture Defect Detection

2007
This paper presents a fast multispectral texture defect detection method based on the underlying three-dimensional spatial probabilistic image model. The model first adaptively learns its parameters on the flawless texture part and subsequently checks for texture defects using the recursive prediction analysis.

Automatic thresholding for defect detection

Pattern Recognition Letters, 2005
Automatic thresholding has been widely used in the machine vision industry for automated visual inspection of defects. A commonly used thresholding technique, the Otsu method, provides satisfactory results for thresholding an image with histogram of bimodal distribution. This method, however, fails if the histogram is unimodal or close to unimodal. For

The Prenatal Detection of Hereditary Defects

Hospital Practice, 1969
The recent explosion of knowledge concerning hereditary diseases and the availability of amniocentesis have opened the way to antenatal diagnosis, by culturing amniotic fluid cells, of many inborn errors of metabolism and some chromosomal abnormalities. The result is to make possible immediate neonatal management of treatable disorders, or interruption

The Defect: Classification and Detection

The American Journal of Nursing, 1979
Scoliosis is a lateral deviation of the spinal column from the midline that may or may not include rotation or deformity of the vertebrae. Postural scoliosis is a curve resulting from an incorrect relationship between the parts of the body and its center of gravity. This curvature is usually small and can be corrected with passive and active exercises.

DETECTING DEFECTS IN CONCRETE

1992
A method and apparatus for detecting the presence and condition of components or defects embedded in a non-homogeneous body, in which the body is first insonated with an acoustic signal including a predetermined band of frequencies, for example from 0 to 400 kHz.
