Filtering antenna with two-octave harmonic suppression [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
A novel 2nd–order antenna with filtering performance and two-octave harmonic suppression is proposed. In order to reduce the effects of the harmonics of the antenna, two types of antennas (PIFA and patch) with different resonant characteristics are ...

A Microwave Bandstop Filter Using Defected Microstrip Structure

open access: yes, 2016
In this paper, two bandstop filters resonating at 5.25 GHz and 7.3 GHz using Defected Microstrip Structure (DMS) are discussed. These slots are incorporated in the feed lines of filters to perform a serious LC resonance property in certain frequency and suppress the spurious signals.

A Dual‐Band Patch Antenna for Skin Implant Applications: Design, Optimization, and Performance Evaluation

open access: yesInternational Journal of RF and Microwave Computer-Aided Engineering, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
This work presents a compact dual‐band patch antenna designed for skin implant applications. The antenna features a robot‐shaped patch structure on FR‐4 substrate and resonates at dual bands of 915 and 2430 MHz. Three techniques are employed to miniaturize the antenna: a shorting pin between the patch and ground, defected ground structure (DGS), and ...

Cobalt Tungstate Characterization Using Matryoshka‐Structure Filter

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 27, Issue 23, December 2025.
The green synthesis of cobalt tungstate (CoWO4) using natural polymerizing agents from agar–agar and commercial produces environmentally friendly materials with tunable structural and electromagnetic properties. X‐ray diffraction and Rietveld refinement correlate crystal structure with microwave transmission losses in Matryoshka‐type filters.
