Analysis of Treacher Collins syndrome 4‐associated mutations in Schizosaccharomyces pombe

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Fission yeast models carrying Treacher Collins syndrome type 4‐associated mutations reveal that impaired processivity of RNA polymerase I leads to defective rRNA transcription. This study highlights the essential role of a conserved arginine residue in Pol I elongation and provides mechanistic insight into the pathogenesis of ribosomopathies.

Deformation Monitoring and Analysis of Baige Landslide (China) Based on the Fusion Monitoring of Multi-Orbit Time-Series InSAR Technology

open access: yesSensors
Due to the limitations inherent in SAR satellite imaging modes, utilizing time-series InSAR technology to process single-orbit satellite image data typically only yields one-dimensional deformation information along the LOS direction.

Deformation Analysis of Large-Scale Rock Slopes Considering the Effect of Microseismic Events

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2019
To research the macroscopic deformation of rock microseismic damage, a high-precision microseismic monitoring system was established on the left bank slope of the Baihetan hydropower station in Southwestern China. Based on the microseismic monitoring and

Analysis of laminated doubly-curved shells by alayerwise theory and radial basis functions collocation, accounting for through-the-thickness deformations

open access: yes, 2011
In this paper, the static and free vibration analysis of laminated shells is performed by radial basis functions collocation, according to a sinusoidal shear deformation theory (SSDT).

Hands‐on protocol for preparing water‐soluble fractions from agri‐food samples for NMR‐based metabolomics analysis

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This research protocol outlines a workflow for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)‐based metabolomics in the agri‐food sector. Using two case studies—strawberry leaves (solid matrix) and wine (liquid matrix)—it details the procedures for sample preparation, data acquisition, and processing.

ATP13A2 is involved in intracellular polyamine transport in lung epithelial cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Spermidine transport in lung epithelial cells involves the polyamine transporter ATP13A2. Cell proliferation is associated with the upregulation of ATP13A2. Polyamines are present in all living cells and are implicated in various crucial cellular processes such as proliferation, apoptosis and autophagy.

Ugotavljanje premikov točk v geodetski mreži : Determining Point Displacements in a Geodetic Network [PDF]

open access: yesGeodetski Vestnik, 2003
The article describes the procedure for testing the statistical significance of point displacements in the geodetic network as the intermediate stage between the adjustment of respective epoch measurements and an in-depth deformation analysis.

AGT on the S-duality Wall

open access: yes, 2010
Three-dimensional gauge theory T[G] arises on a domain wall between four-dimensional N=4 SYM theories with the gauge groups G and its S-dual G^L. We argue that the N=2^* mass deformation of the bulk theory induces a mass-deformation of the theory T[G] on
