Marginally deformed AdS5/CFT4 backgrounds in Type IIB
Multi-parameter families of N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 0 Type IIA and Type IIB AdS5 solutions are presented, promoting to N $$ \mathcal{N} $$ = 1 in some special cases.

Backreacting D-brane instantons on branes at singularities
Non-perturbative D-brane instanton effects in 4d N = 1 $$ \mathcal{N}=1 $$ string compactifications can be geometrized in terms of a backreacted generalized geometry. We extend earlier results to setups in which the D-brane instanton is charged under the

Low-dimensional Singularities with Free Divisors as Discriminants
We present versal complex analytic families, over a smooth base and of fibre dimension zero, one, or two, where the discriminant constitutes a free divisor.

core
A numerical–experimental framework is developed for characterizing multi‐matrix fiber‐reinforced polymers (MM‐FRPs) combining epoxy and polyurethane matrices. Harmonic bending tests are integrated with finite element model updating (FEMU) to simultaneously identify elastic and viscoelastic material parameters.

Modelling nematic liquid crystal in fractal dimensions
In this paper we present a fractal Berreman's model which account for azimuthal surface anchoring of nematic liquid crystals which play a leading role nowadays in biomedical field and pharmaceutical controlled release dosage forms.

Singularities of Whitham Deformations
Constant mean curvature planes of finite type in Euclidean 3-space are in correspondence with spectral data, consisting of a hyperelliptic (spectral) curve, two meromorphic differentials, and a line bundle. A class of deformations one can consider are known as Whitham or period preserving deformations. Singularities of Whitham deformations can occur if

Application of Raman and Photoluminescence Spectroscopy to MgO‐C Refractories
Visible to near infrared luminescence of MgO is studied on MgO‐C bricks and nominally pure MgO powder, with focus on two similar sharp high‐intensity signals, at 699 and 871 nm, each surrounded by symmetrical sidebands. The nature of these sidebands is investigated by temperature‐dependent spectroscopic measurements, confirming phonon involvement by ...

Refined BPS invariants of 6d SCFTs from anomalies and modularity
F-theory compactifications on appropriate local elliptic Calabi-Yau manifolds engineer six dimensional superconformal field theories and their mass deformations.

Geometry‐driven thermal behavior in wire‐arc additive manufacturing (WAAM) influences microstructural evolution during nonequilibrium solidification of a chemically complex Fe–Cr–Nb–W–Mo–C nanocomposite system. By comparing different deposits configurations, distinct entropy–cooling rate correlations, segregation, and carbide evolution are revealed ...

Scalar quasi-normal modes of accelerating Kerr-Newman-AdS black holes
We study linear scalar perturbations of slowly accelerating Kerr-Newman-anti-de Sitter black holes using the method of isomonodromic deformations.
