Shaped electrodes for adaptive X‐ray optics
For adaptive X‐ray optics on high‐performance beamline optical systems, we describe an approach to mirror figure and slope control using patterned, shaped electrodes to control the local curvature on a lithium niobate substrate from a single applied voltage. Longitudinally continuous electrode patterns achieve target shapes without discontinuities, and

The role of the curvature of a surface in the shape of the solutions to elliptic equations
Abstract We prove the uniqueness and nondegeneracy of the critical point of positive, semistable solutions of −Δu=f(u)$-\Delta u=f(u)$ with Dirichlet boundary conditions for a class of star‐shaped domains on the sphere and in the hyperbolic plane satisfying a geometric condition.

A Data‐Driven Multiscale Scheme for Anisotropic Finite Strain Magneto‐Elasticity
ABSTRACT In this work, we develop a neural network‐based, data‐driven, decoupled multiscale scheme for the modeling of structured magnetically soft magnetorheological elastomers (MREs). On the microscale, sampled magneto‐mechanical loading paths are imposed on a representative volume element containing spherical particles and an elastomer matrix, and ...

Summary: We construct degenerated Euler polynomials of the second kind and find some basic properties of this polynomials. From this paper, we can see degenerated alternative power sum is defined and is related to degenerated Euler polynomials of the second kind.

Degenerate Bernoulli–Fibonacci and Euler–Fibonacci polynomials
In this article, we first introduce the degenerate Bernoulli–Fibonacci numbers and degenerate Euler–Fibonacci numbers. Using these definitions, we then define the degenerate Bernoulli–Fibonacci polynomials and degenerate Euler–Fibonacci polynomials and examine their graphs for several initial values of λ.

New Type of Degenerate Poly-Frobenius-Euler Polynomials and Numbers
Motivated by Kim-Kim [19] introduced the new type of degenerate poly- Bernoulli polynomials by means of the degenerate polylogarithm function. In this paper, we define the degenerate poly-Frobenius-Euler polynomials, called the new type of degenerate poly-Frobenius-Euler polynomials, by means of the degenerate polylogarithm function.
