A Functional 2D Carbon Allotrope Combining Nanoporous Graphene and Biphenylene Segments
The synthesis of a novel nanoporous graphene (NPG) is reported with biphenylene segments via thermal fusion of 12‐armchair porous graphene nanoribbons grown on gold surfaces. Characterization using STM, AFM, and DFT reveals low‐defect semiconducting behaviour and tunable band gaps.

Qualitative Analysis of Coating Flows on a Rotating Horizontal Cylinder
We consider a nonlinear 4th-order degenerate parabolic partial differential equation that arises in modelling the dynamics of an incompressible thin liquid film on the outer surface of a rotating horizontal cylinder in the presence of gravity.

Directional Flow of Confined Polaritons in CrSBr
CrSBr, a layered magnetic semiconductor, naturally channels self‐hybridized excitonpolaritons into highly directional flow. Its intrinsic optical anisotropy, high refractive index, and strong lightmatter coupling enable long‐range guided modes along the a‐axis, with propagation lengths set by their excitonphoton admixture.

We study the local classical solvability of the Cauchy problem to the equations of one-dimensional nonlinear thermoelasticity. The governing model is a coupled system of a nonlinear hyperbolic equation for the displacement and a parabolic equation for ...

On Regularity of the Time Derivative for Degenerate Parabolic Systems [PDF]
We prove regularity estimates for time derivatives of a large class of nonlinear parabolic partial differential systems. This includes the instationary (symmetric) p-Laplace system and models for non Newtonien fluids of powerlaw or Carreau type. By the use of special weak different quotients, adapted to the variational structure we bound fractional ...

A Colloidal Quantum Dot Thermistor and Bolometer
This work introduces colloidal quantum dot thermistors employing a potential barrier structure to tune the activation energy of transport and hence the temperature coefficient of resistance (TCR). Upon integration with plasmonic absorbers, the CQD‐based bolometer device enables room‐temperature wavelength‐selective photodetection across the mid‐ to ...

In this paper, the problem of a doubly nonlinear degenerate parabolic system with nonlinear sources and absorption terms not located in a homogeneous medium was considered. It obeys zero Dirichlet boundary conditions in a smooth bounded domain.
