This work describes access to both enantiomers of planar chiral 7‐bromo‐4‐hydroxy [2.2]paracyclophane through direct resolution of the racemate using an L‐isoleucine‐derived chiral auxiliary or through resolution of 4‐hydroxy [2.2]paracyclophane, followed by regioselective bromination.
