Multiple Degrees of Freedom Positioning Correction for Hybrid Simulation
Journal of Earthquake Engineering, 2014This study proposes a high-precision positioning correction method for multiple degree-of-freedom loading units in hybrid simulation. These loading units can impose inaccurate displacements to the specimens due to the elastic deformation at the reaction wall or connections.

Structural synthesis of five-degree-of-freedom hybrid kinematics mechanism
Journal of Engineering Design, 2016ABSTRACTThe structural synthesis of mechanisms is the prerequisite of mechanical design, thereby, it is necessary to formulate special care to be taken to the structural synthesis of mechanisms, especially for the type synthesis of hybrid kinematics mechanism (HKM).

An Energetic Comparison for Hybrid Vehicles Ranging from Low to High Degree of Hybridization
SAE Technical Paper Series, 2011<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">The efficiency achievable with effective energy management strategies represents a key issue for modern hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs). In this paper, by comparing different HEVs architectures with the same power to weight ratio, the dependence of energy consumption on different

On improved hybrid finite elements with rotational degrees of freedom
International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering, 1989AbstractA set of three new hybrid elements with rotational degrees‐of‐freedom (d.o.f.'s) is introduced. The solid, 8‐node, hexahedron element is developed for solving three‐dimensional elasticity problems. This element has three translational and three rotational d.o.f.'s at each node and is based on a 42‐parameter.

Hybrid Adaptive Precise Position Control of Three Degrees Freedom Platform
2006 2nd International Conference on Information & Communication Technologies, 2006This paper describes the implementation of a hybrid self-tuning regulator for the positioning of motors in 3-degree of freedom table in image stabilizer. This system has three motors in yaw, pitch, and roll axis for control of table. The servo motors are permanent-magnet dc motors in which no speed reducer is used.

Adaptive hybrid Kalman filter based on the degree of observability
2015 34th Chinese Control Conference (CCC), 2015Kalman filter is generally selected as the data fusion algorithm in the integrated navigation system of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs). The output correction method does not correct the system mathematical model so that navigation errors are gradually accumulated.

Design of impedance transforming 90 degree patch hybrid couplers
2015A miniaturized 3-dB patch hybrid coupler with arbitrary impedance transforming ratio is presented. By loading a pair of asymmetric cross slots on a squared patch resonator, the overall size of the hybrid is reduced and the required 3-dB conditions can also be achieved with different transformed output-port impedances.

The Meaning of the Degree of Hybridization in Paramagnetic Clusters
1979In order to better understand the variation of the degree of hybridization (D.H) of a ligand through a series of similar complexes we propose a rule, which implies that D.H should be maximum in an ionic situation, tending to decrease when covalency increases.

Design of 90 degree phase shift hybrid coupler
This paper describes the design procedure for quadrature hybrid for UHF band. Circuits are based on distributed parameters with anticipated manufacturing on a PCB. Emphasis is put on a compact size, three methods are used for size reduction of transmission lines. All designs are simulated in electromagnetic simulation software.Ondrejka, Adam, Kříž, Tomáš
